Damn. That's so weird.

I'm fine with what she's doing at the moment. It's good for the party to have some personalities pushing the public debate on what the Democratic party is/should be. The picture would be pretty bleak on the day-to-day if the only people doing any politicking for the Democrats were Chuck and Nancy. Were you a Bernie supporter? I don't remember.

I'm not sure if this is totally sarcastic or not, but I understand if there is apprehension about her being a freshman in congress. I'm not fully on the bandwagon yet, but I admit that I'm watching to see what she does. Unfortunately the government being shut down hasn't given her much opportunity to try to do anything with her current celebrity status (and residence inside the minds of pretty much everyone in the GOP and its commentariat). It'll be interesting to see what happens whenever things finally reopen. A freshman house representative really shouldn't be getting this much publicity, but here we are.

I kinda give Genny a pass for the Goat because it's not the most traditional of Bock beers anyway. But they definitely release it a little bit too early. I hope that in the future they'll extend the run of the Schwarzbier they did this winter. I thought it was quite good and could spend more time on the shelves before Bock shows up.

I've been making a lot more use of the trains and something I call "camp warping". If I get myself into some real weird off the path place I just set up camp and inevitably the game will place my camp closer to a handy road.

Watching Joe Biden get his ass kicked will be...sad. Necessary, but sad. There are going to be a lot of Democrat candidates who will have to answer for their pasts. That's not as easy of a hill to climb in this party as it is in the GOP. That said, I think if the party is shifting and looking for someone who comes off as "genuine", dealing with those skeletons is going to show who is capable of growth and being the face of the party. And I hope any prospective presidential candidates are keeping an eye on the current media sensation AOC. I'm not sure what to make of her yet, but she seems to get more popular every day, which is important if you're interested in keeping your finger on the pulse of a large part of the party. Lots of things mucking up the water at the moment.

I think you could roll some js and put em in those toothbrush slots.

Good call. This field is going to be a mess and the media coverage is going to be dreadful. Might as well start vetting candidates now so that some actual competition takes place in 2020. I think a lot of the early announcers are going to find themselves left behind as stronger candidates push them out. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if someone comes in really late in the game and steals the show.

I turned it off today and saw the light. Turns out some of my friends are in agreement.

Can someone explain to me how I'm supposed to use traction control? Because my car either just doesn't move at all or tries to torque steer me into a ditch. It's completely useless and frankly dangerous.

Doesn't the AHL also take an all star break?

Popped on Ace Combat today and I'm enjoying it. It's very, um, classically Japanese in story and style. Retro almost. A lot like I remember the old game being. But I expect that from Namco. There's an aircraft tree like World of Tanks and I'm very here for it.

I went with the nighthawk too. I've been happy with my Netgear modem. This router is bangin.

I don't even think it's just the defensive players that are our defensive problem so much as it's the rest of the team. On the whole this team really doesn't have much control over the middle of the ice in their end.

Eh. He's a mixed bag. You can get some really good play from him in places like breaking up zone entries. But you're also getting some really trash play from him in things like puck handling in tight areas and zone exits. He's important to the defense from a depth perspective, but I wouldn't say he's a "stud".

Analytics would support the eye test here but you have to look at multiple things. Shot maps are going to be the big one. https://www.hockey-reference.com/boxscores/201901180VAN.html#all_shotchart The Sabres played the better game offensively. They weren't even that bad defensively in that they limited the amount of Vancouver shots. But allowing three goals from right around the net: that is how you lose games. Vancouver did the same and that should have been enough to get Buffalo a win. The Sabres can't have teams scoring from the slot so much and expect to come away with wins. What Vancouver did last night (and got away with) is why they aren't good either.
