  1. I like the idea of breaking the top line up to try to get other things going and then putting the top line back together. I've been banging the drum for months now that Reinhart needs his own line. I just don't agree with Phil's combos. I also think he will be too quick to put the top line back together if things don't go well tomorrow night. He knee-jerked last time too.
  2. Ugh, thanks for reminding me.
  3. He *is* in Rochester on conditioning. But conditioning stints are limited in length. So they had to waive him to give him a longer conditioning assignment. It was a safe move to assume no one would claim someone who was injured.
  4. These are good though

  6. The Rasmi do not work together. Breaking up Eichel and Skinner is stupid. Reinhart on his own line...but it's the 3rd line. I just...ugh.
  7. Also, NO, NOT LIKE THAT PHIL. ugh.
  8. Me screaming at Phil to change the lines. edit: fixed it
  9. They're bad at playing a simple game. They might have skill, but they don't do the basics very well. Scoring pretty goals is fun. But scoring ugly goals is necessary. Skinner isn't getting the rebound opportunities he was getting during the streak and it shows. Jack and Sam need to do a better job of generating chances. They aren't dangerous enough every time they're on the ice. And they let other teams box them out of the middle way too easily.
  10. Man this sucks
  11. I think it's all those pregame meals at Chef's
  12. This thread was DOA as soon as someone said "alpha". So basic.
  13. I'd like to see the top line do it...
  14. The Sabres can't get anyone to the middle of the ice while opposing teams make it look easy.
  15. Swhat happens when the only lines getting scoring ops are the bad ones.
  16. It's depressing that our most talented players don't do the things our less talented players do to get zone time. Because Sheary trying to shoot the puck is just not good enough despite his determination.
  17. I'd make that trade.
  18. Evan Rodrigues is a very good boy and I will not have him traded away.
  19. John Bolton is the guy to look to on this idiocy. He would love a new arms race.
  20. I'm stunned you guys don't already have him on ignore. It's pretty obvious that he's a troll.
  21. Hm, you might be right on that. I don't remember his exact language. Nice part about Boyle is he's cheap.
  22. Jeremy White hinting on Twitter that the Sabres are looking at Brian Boyle. Which I guess makes sense if you need to fill the Berglund hole. He's a rental though, which doesn't quite fit Botterill's MO. White's guy is always wrong anyway, right?
