  1. Probably. But he needs to produce on PP2 or he's done. I don't think he did much there last year compared to the year before.
  2. I mean, he's an Assistant Captain, right? That probably counts for something in the room. I think a "players coach" like Krueger might see some value in letting Kyle have 5-6 games of regular season before making the final call.
  3. They get like, 1.125mil in cap or something like that. It's not much, but it might be helpful. I think the reason he hasn't been waived is that they want to let him lose his job in the regular season. There might be some veteran respect stuff going on there. Perhaps they're holding out to see if he'll retire voluntarily.
  4. I think they're waiting to see what their cap situation ends up being if some trades get made over the next week or so. If they need to waive Okposo to fit a new player in his spot and free up a small amount of cap then they might do it. But maybe they want to try to move him instead of waive him?
  5. Does the AHL not do IR?
  6. Yup. They gotta put Bogo and Pilut on IR.
  7. I have a feeling the Thompson thing is mostly just a compliance move for the start of the regular season. I kinda expect him back here by the end of October once Botterill makes some other moves after the season starts. I thought he looked good so I guess I'm not too surprised.
  8. Someone on D needed to go. Nelson is the obvious choice.
  9. Thompson going down. Interesting. And Nelson on waivers.
  10. lol Wonderlic
  11. Are you going to play with us this year, or are you planning to fall off another roof?
  12. Agreed. I don't really want Barkley playing. Allen gives this team the best chance to win even if he's an idiot.
  13. Are any of the teams in the image in the first post yours?
  14. I'm not saying I agree with DeSmith, I just thought it was interesting.
  15. Ultimately, I think Josh Allen is what he is: a physically gifted athlete with zero real talent. He's at his best when he gets lucky. But when the luck doesn't roll his way it turns into a real mess and he does stupid stuff like run with his head down instead of sliding, or leaping over defenders. He's a competitor, but he's not a very good quarterback. Watching journeyman Chase Daniel throw balls for Chicago last night was a stark contrast to the hijinks Allen gets up to. Protecting the ball matters. 6th round pick Gardner Minshew II is lighting it up for Jacksonville right now because he stays in the pocket and sees the field well. I need Allen to make the plays he needs to make. He hasn't shown any capability to do that though. He's doing his own thing out there.
  16. It's funny you mention Zemgus. During the Pens game the other night they were interviewing Casey DeSmith and he mentioned he played with Zemgus during the summer and that he had really good hands.
  17. Just a reminder that Blue League is drafting tonight. @#freejame I don't have any space available but if any of my GMs end up being deadbeats I'll keep you in mind to transfer the team to.
  18. Hopefully the ease with which he dominates will afford him plenty of time and energy to work on his development plans.
  19. I think Tage is staying.
  20. Y'all are masochists.
  21. And the beat goes on
  22. You know how.
  23. Agreed. I like that they went for it. Pinning the Pats deep is fine and it worked out.
  24. That was inevitable.
