I hate the goal song, Just play the horn and the siren as loud as possible, stop with all the BS in between play and commercials, get the crowd back into it like the 70s 80's 90's and 2000's not like the past 10 years. It's a joke....

My opinion of this deal is that JBOT is giving Eichel the leadership of this team, he will live or die with this move. I would venture to say Eichel was the problem moreso than Oreilly. Time will tell..

If anything in my mind the Tavares signing with the Laffs makes me want to keep Ryan O even more. 2 years down the road I will Take Eichel Middlestat and Oreilly over Tavares and company any day. Add in Dahlin and forget it. Trade Ryan now and t makes us a worse team present and in the future.

OMG I hate this freaking Tuesday Thursday night schedule. I gave them my 500 dollar deposit for my seasons just to see if at least it would be an enjoyable night to go out on. JC this makes me so mad. Crap team crap schedule goodby 500 bucks.

Why not consider it? The Sabres' biggest problem is goaltending right now. And it's a GLARING problem.
I miss the "Miller is average" crew.
How many times in the first period this year did either one of our goalies give up a lame goal to start the game, or when we go ahead a lame goal to tie it. In my eyes our horrible goalie situation did more to hurt the team than any other position. Nothing hurts a team more than a bad goalie situation. Fix it and you fix alot.

It might be just a coincidence but in my 48 years of watching hockey I do not recall the same player getting high ankle sprains more than one time. Can you imagine our luck if his ankles are just weak. LOL..

The fact that the Sabres didn't take on bad money is something that's probably not getting enough consideration right now.
Indeed - there were better players available on waivers today.
The idea that JBOTS should have traded Kane when he was tearing it up back in December is one that has some appeal to it.
But, again. We have no way of knowing whether JBOTS was getting better deals offered to him at that time. We just don't know. Maybe there'll be some leaks about how JBOTS missed the boat? I dunno. I feel like if he'd been offered an unconditional 2018 1st and a prospect in December, Kane would've been gone.
If it is true that the ownership of the Sabre's were not interested in resigning Kane due to his off ice problems they should have traded him in the off-season when a team could have received a full years use out of Kane. I do not understand why they would not have done this. There were some signs that that was the case to the ordinary fan that they were not happy with him, there silence and lack of support for him being the largest sign IMO. Being that I spend quite a bit of my hard earned money on this team for season tickets I am beyond angry. This team needed to do something all year to kick start some life into the heart of this team and they did absolutely NOTHING. They can kiss my BFA( Big Freaking A&$) next year.

Stupid anecdote from my personal life:
I totaled my car in December that had 168k on it. I would have never sold that car for under 10k. Geico offered $5400 and told me I could ask for more if I could justify it. Seems as though not a single sale or online valuation tool backed up my personal value on it. I settled for $5400 because that was the offer I had and it was time to move on.
Maybe you should have done your homework on insurance companies before you gave them your business. :nana:

My son was using our season tickets for only the 2nd time this year, and there were a couple of fans sitting behind him who after the Sabres were down 2 zip in the middle of the first said " Ah back to the pit of misery again..Dilly Dilly" This franchise is an utter joke, an embarrassment and whatever other horrific phrase to describe an abortion can be found. I am angry and quite fed up, for christ sake an expansion team is in first place in the entire league and we are stuck at the bottom once again.. This is putrid. I can not wait until I get my season ticket renewal form, I will have a burning ceremony.

I loved listening to the way he described the game, how me made the game changing plays even better. I cannot recall any plays where he over emphasized a moment. When Keith Jackson used the word "great" you can be sure the play was of epic importance. These announcers today use the word great like the word "the" is used in a sentence. I would watch a game that had no interest to me other than the fact Keith Jackson would be doing the announcing. The first World Series I can remember watching was the 77" Yankees vs Dodgers, I can still hear him call the Reggie Jackson homerun's and all the great stops at 3rd base by Craig Nettles. They will be forever etched in my memory.

Just curious how many season ticket holders are part of this community and also where are your seats located? I have had the seats for awhile, and last year I went to only four games and stayed for only one complete game. I could not stand to pay for anything while watching that garbage. I am hoping that this years team does what I had hoped last years team would do and play an exciting young brand of up tempo hockey. So what say you?
