They play 6 PS games EVERY year lately. It's not like this year is a significant aberation with the extra game against Munich.

Wadr, game wasn't lost on those 1st 3 series. Game was lost on the bizarre trick play that nearly got Allen killed. Bills scored on their 1st drive of the 1/2; Jackson was on the ropes with 2 horrible drives to start the 2nd half following his fumble near the end of the 1st half; and the Bills were driving again. Just keep doing what you're doing at that point. Expecting that was a learning moment for Brady and expect he learned what he needed to from that. That got the Ravens fired back up and the game was all but over after they scored to go up by 18 on that followup drive late in the 3rd. Allen is very good late in games; Jackson, not so much. The Bills should've just kept doing what they were doing and let the 2nd half snowball in their favor as much as the 1st half did for Baltimore.

Was wondering why Johnson had been listed as one of the 7 D on the roster against the BJs and then didn't play. If it's dtd, expecting (hoping) it can't be too serious. If they're going to split the G's again with both getting time, am not expecting a W even with it being Detroit's AHL squad primarily too.

The BJ's didn't show up in the 3rd, at least no more than they'd done so in the 1st 2 periods. The problem is Sandstrom showed up in the 3rd. Well, he arrived in the 3rd, pretty sure they're STILL waiting for him to show up.

Not sure if anybody noticed, but Hutton falling apart coincided almost exactly with that Tredavious White Louisiana School of Goaltending skit. Correlation, not necessarily causation. But, just sayin'.

The way he's played in his 2 stints between the pipes, would not expect that to still be the expectation. Houser is better than him. 2-1 good guys.

Wouldn't be surprised if Houser beats Sandstrom out as the backup without playing ANY games. Wonder how Sandstrom will like Jacksonville? The way he's playing, he'll be lucky to be the Ice Men's starter by the time TC is done.

Jobst making it a 2 goal game. He and Helenius should both be fun to watch in Ra-cha-cha this year. Hopefully Sandstrom is nowhere near that game. Would be nice to see the Sabres go 6-1-0 in the preseason to go with the 2-0-0 start in the RS before they even get to the legit home opener.

So, not ALL of them are going to the AHL. 😉 Pretty sure they're afraid the few remaining BJ fans would slash their wrists the way the off-season has been going if they told them there aren't ANY NHLers on this "Sabres" roster.

Sabres killed off the PP but before Novikov could get back into the play, puck went to STN-PCH on the back side for a tap in to the open net. 2-1 Sabres. Just over 2 minutes left in the 2nd.
