It feels like you are intentionally misrepresenting what I said. Did Bo Jackson stand on the field of play and repeatedly smash his bat on the ground? Again, I'm not aware of another sport that allows a similar display to what Chicago's goalie did last night. That was not typical, even in hockey.

It absolutely lets you edit your post. You must be doing something wrong. This happens to me occasionally. -
That's as ugly of a post as I've seen on here. Congrats Archie.

Again, growing up there and knowing what was said on a conversation by conversation basis would make people's head explode if they weren't subjected to it. It's my opinion that most of Genessee County could be transplanted to the middle of Alabama and the only difference would be the accents and putting the word "the" in front of every road.

I grew up in the town next to Batavia. After being away from there so many years, I couldn’t live in such an area and perhaps raise a family. I could not even begin to describe the over the top, every day racism and hatred for different people in that area. These days, for the few that actually remain on my Facebook feed, a lot of it’s hard to stomach.

Can you name another sport where this is allowed? If you can’t, why not? What does it mean to have behavior that’s classified as unsportsmanlike in the rulebook, but other on ice unsportsmanlike behavior is clearly accepted?

Their is slamming your stick in a show of emotion and then there is making yourself a spectacle. Two Chicago guys broke their stick on that play. The guy that nobody cares about broke a stick along the boards and skated off. The guy that everyone sat and watched take three chops at a goal post was a spectacle. Personally, I think becoming a spectacle is unwarranted.

Is Don Granato the best coach the Sabres have had since Lindy Ruff?

Why would anyone think they know the depth of DG’s understanding of the game? Just because he teaches the game a certain way to players at a certain age/level doesn’t mean he wouldn’t adjust his style for different players at different career prints. I think there’s no reason to artificially sell this man short.- 520 replies

So he broke two sticks?

Doesn’t every sport have “passion”?

I normally don’t pay attention to things like this. Has this ever been punished after the game?

I’m just thinking about the display that Lankinen put on last night. Slamming your stick down once is understandable. But when you put on a full display of smashing your stick against a goal post multiple times, at some point it’s really not a good look for the sport.

Should this be two minute unsportsmanlike conduct penalty? if unsportsmanlike conduct is a rule heading in your rulebook, shouldn’t this kind of behavior fall under that?

Yes. I’ve mentioned DGs comments here. The idea is that some of the centers are playing wing so that they can become better wings in the future, in case they’re ever needed there. -
Wife: Lets go to Mighty Taco for dinner on Tuesday. Report: Couple will have Mexican food at Mighty Taco Tuesday. Tuesday comes… Wife: my stomach is really upset and I think we should stay in. Report: Couple decides against Mexican Public: liar

They need to be set up hunger game style, like when the two of them were practicing their skills for the potential sponsors.
-
Have they officially implemented the new policy or is it still year to year? I guess the toothpaste is out of the tube now and they probably can’t go back.
-
But it also guarantees more sellouts so that other fans can watch at home. (edit: this is probably a non-issue since the NFL stopped the policy in 2014, but they’ve been doing this year to year. It’s hard to imagine they would go back to it.) Honestly, I think modern-day NFL stadiums should be on the order of 25,000 seats. The future is smaller attendance, not bigger.
