Round Three:2019 Stanley Cup Playoffs The Conference Finals
SDS replied to Brawndo's topic in The Aud Club
I am not a referee, but the only criticism I can see is if they were out of position. Either that or we review everything now. -
This is never not the case. If there was a proven formula in anything, it would be followed or the sure thing would be chosen.

Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever noticed a problem with referees not calling hand passes when appropriate. It’s not like something where they decided to let them play and ignored it. -

Maybe. He hits it with his right hand which is screened by his body. Probably a tough call from that distance at game speed. -

I understand this is not satisfying but you can see the referee could not see the hand pass because he was directly opposite the goal and his view was blocked. The question is if everyone is arguing for more replay rather than less? -

Nice defense ROR Did you hear his name when he did not cover the game-tying goal? -
Well, I’m talking about Ralph specifically and the situation from his perspective, not Jason’s.
-
How many message board coaches did they have? 873?

So with the Sabres up 2-0 in the Stanley Cup finals, what do you want to have happen for the rest of the series? New merged post: If we assume for a moment that Ralph is not a feather in the wind and that he has some staying power here, I think the question should be asked if Jason is actually smart enough for him?
-
Given that your gut thinks he was coaching soccer, your gut is woefully uninformed.
-
And this is where any comparison to Ted Nolan violently departs. I’m not sure Ted Nolan could power a potato clock. He didn’t know what he didn’t know. Ralph appears to be aware and comfortable in his deficiencies and seeks to fill that void - not dismiss them.

I already posted this upthread this morning.

It depends if you consider putting his name permanently on the Wall of Fame a dumpster fire. Other than that it is has been respectful.

I'm typically not a cynical person, but this is a 50-pointer.

Why is being the best X fan possible important to a child? Because it is odd. Everyone is different, but it is hard to imagine why this would be considered important enough to sit your kid down for life lesson time.

Why is this important?

No idea what they get paid now. Some of them are young and maybe want to move on to a new chapter of their life? Regardless, 10 years is a long time to spend doing one show that has so many irreplaceable characters.

Why doesn't a Reddit post deserve the same respect as a published author? Those thoughts are owned by the creator and licensed to their platform of choice - Reddit.

Have any of the primary actors indicated that they were ready to move on after all these years? There is a lot of hand-wringing about rushing the last two seasons, but real people play these fake characters and maybe some want to move on with their lives?
