  1. From the press conference, what I’m getting is that most likely Jack let everyone know how dissatisfied he was and that was the impetus of Adams wanting to move him early on. After the season when they talked, Jack reaffirmed that mentally he wasn’t prepared to lead the charge anymore. So Adams followed through. So Adams followed through. This is entirely on Jack. How can Adams get up in the morning, look everyone in the face, state that he only wants a team of players who want to be here, and have that Boston dude sitting in the middle like a three horn purple headed alien with a C on his chest? either Adams eats his own dog food or he’s a hypocrite. He chose the former.
  2. In light of the press conference, I think the refusal of salary retention is extremely interesting. Adams approached this as keeping his long-term options open. Retaining salary only hinders you if you become a team willing to go to the cap. If you read between the lines this fits good news for future salary expenditures.
  3. Money that they’re not getting because no one‘s going to the game or buying their merchandise? The jerseys are a lot of money, but they’re purchased really cheap. Honestly, with concessions they get by luring fans to the game they probably come close to even in that swap.
  4. It solves a lot of problems. It puts fannies in the seats, it’s goodwill towards the fan base, it helps scrub away recent failures by reducing his presence during the game day experience…
  5. Does this make Tuch the best player almost in the lineup right now? Without looking, I’m thinking that’s not going to go well.
  6. From now until Christmas, the Sabres should offer every fan who goes to a game a free one to one player swap for any authentic Eichel jerseys.
  7. Oh. OK. I’ll go ahead and just let you control my thoughts and feelings. Shall I submit to you a list every morning so that you can tell me how to feel like by line?
  8. We just had this huge purge of players who didn’t want to be here. It’s a legitimate question to ask. I’d like to think Adams had these discussions, especially since he said he only wants players who want to be here.
  9. Agreed. Without knowing what has transpired behind the scenes, there is inherent risk in this.
  10. I don’t know where he’s from. Just because you’re from the area doesn’t mean you want to go back there to an objectively worse professional situation.
  11. I wonder what the chances are for either of these two players to be disgruntled upon coming over? I wonder if we got to speak with them at all?
  12. You can tune out of this topic anytime you want.
  13. This was not the scenario presented that I was responding to.
  14. Nothing you said refutes what Tom Webster said. He is absolutely right.
  15. Does anybody remember laughter?
  16. It’s down to about 1 out of every 6 games. Please stop pretending this is a thing anymore. Teams, coaches and players have moved on. Soon it will be one in seven games and soon after that it will be one in eight games.
  17. I have a good crop of wide receivers. I desperately need a quarterback.
  18. Lopsided trades will be subject vetoes.
  19. Let’s just hope it’s not a Mushy Wiener.
  20. It’s 1 PM out on the West Coast. What would be a better time when two coastal teams play on Halloween?
  21. And the relevant pages are from page 45 to 52. You’re looking in the wrong section.
  22. I literally just read every single persons account in that report. Nobody claims to have discussed an assault resembling anything like we are being told today. Not a single person. Not a vague hint, not a suggestion, not a wink and a nod, not a polite euphemism… a detailed description of sexual assault. Feel free to pull any information from the report regarding that meeting that states otherwise.
