Lorentz is promptly locked in the Ranger room for the second period and can't call friends and family with the good news. Jeremy Roenick was tossed from the game for throwing a water bottle and striking referee Blaine Angus, who did not call a penalty on Rory Fitzpatrick, whose stick came up and cut Roenick late in the game. Roenick was suspended one game by the NHL and lost $90,000 in salary. "Terrible, absolutely absolutely absolutely terrible," said JR after the game. But it was the water bottle's fault. Roenick did nothing wrong, and probably wasn't even in the arena at the time. I just don't remember much Curtis Brown from that season. quite alot of talk about him as he was massivly underused and had no real place in the team. a very bad season for him. glad to see his back on track, sorta, though.
