Anybody else notice that gay horn OLN plays briefly after every goal? Its pretty annoying, just like this play by play guy, John Beninati. Man I miss RJ and JL. This should be one damn good 3rd period...

All I can say about tonight's game is WOW. It was really looking like Ottawa was going to beat us yet AGAIN, but the boys some how pulled it out. The boys are back! Cheers to the crowd this evening. I was back here in Rochester watching on tv and almost felt like I was at the game at some points because the place got so loud. LETS GO BUFFALO!

I was 2 years old when the Malarchuk incident happened, so I obviously couldn't see it, or at least can't remember seeing it live. Just reading that description of what happened makes me squirm. If anyone has any video of the incident online, I would greatly appreciate seeing it.

The HSBC was absolutely electric during that shootout. I haven't seen that place rocking like that in a looonggg time. The place was about to explod when Miller made the final save on Alfredsson. "USA!! USA!! USA!!" Miller not being on Team USA is simply an injustice to all American hockey fans

Well said. We're 30-15-3 and we've been without Danny Briere, our BEST PLAYER, for almost 75% of the season. When he returns, the Sabres are going to be 10 times better and that much more prepared for the stretch run. Hopefully you add on a quality skater in return for Marty, and we're talking about a serious contender in the Eastern Conference. Everyone keeps talking about how badly we're out-matched vs Ottawa, well, the games we played against Ottawa were in a very tough stretch for this team. Can't wait till Feb. the 4th to see how well we matchup at this point of the season.

Spot on, Corp. Miller's going to be a star in this league. His not being on the Olympic team is just a pure joke. Max was probably the best Sabre on the ice again tonight, too bad he botched that clean breakaway. It was also good seeing the guys stick up for Connoly [Drury and Grier in particular] after that hit... which WAS a good clean hit...

Sad thing for ESPN is Sports Center showed highlights from the game and clearly displayed the replay of the goal with Regehr kicking the puck into the net. The hosts also acknowledged the fact it shouldn't have counted. What a joke.

Calgary is completely out-working and out-muscling us right now...
