Also, nice pass by Kalinin to send away Briere Novotny is the real deal. And that call on Chris Drury looked terrible. The guy just fell, didn't he? Let's beat the f#$king Sens tonight!! I really think Lindy's decision to get him involved in the penalty killing will pay off. That backhand pass on Novotny's goal -- you can't teach it! Bmwolf21 Posted October 7, 2006 Report Share Posted October 7, 2006 I never had any doubts about TV's offensive skills - the play he made to set up Novotny was a beautiful play - fighting through a hook and taking everyone with him and then hitting Novotny on the tape - unreal. His goal in the shootout was in & out so fast I initially thought he hit Huet with it. As far as being a more complete player, he isn't there yet, but he showed me a lot more in one play -- the diving effort on the PK to break up a crossing pass and get the puck out -- than he did all last year. If he keeps his eye on the prize and keeps working hard night in and night out, come playoff time, other teams will have to gameplan on how to stop him in addition to Briere, Pommer, Drury, Roy, Hecht, etc etc etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
