Without Connolly, we're looking at Gaustad--whom I like just fine--as the Sabres' third-best, and then Novotny/Paille. I like both of those kids, too, but I do wonder whether either is ready for full-time NHL duty. Paille had 14 NHL games last year (not sure how many at C), and if I recall correctly, Novotny had even fewer. Not panicking; just pointing out a weak spot that is of concern. Timmah, get well soon! Roy is a center and has always been a center. Minus the few games he was pressed into playing wing with Drury last year. I feel pretty good about the depth at center.
