Take yourself above the whole fan thing for a moment and recognize that last night's game was a classic hockey game. Sure it sucked if you were rooting for the good guys, but last nights's game had everything in it. 1. Break aways 2. Fantastic stops on break aways 3. Power Play goals 4. Fast Break Pace 5. Hard, Hard, Hard hitting 6. Guys getting their head taken off 7. Unbelievable saves (the goal line scoop and just off the skate) 8. A 5-3 power play 9. A last second goal 10. Six on five 11. Bad refing 12. Crisp passing (well at least for the Canes) 13. A crappy goal 14. Nets off the poles 15. Guys without sticks 16. Blocked shots galore 17. Pretty goals 18. 3 Canes defense limping off the ice only to return I know it stunk and sure set back the Buffalo momentum, but from a purist point of view, what a hockey game!! Canes earned that victory. On to Buffalo. Here's to health (Tim, Teppo) and home town fans. Go Sabres!! NOT IN OUR HOUSE!!! HIT SOMEBODY, ANYBODY!!! LabattBlue Posted May 23, 2006 Report Share Posted May 23, 2006 If you were a neutral fan watching this game and see one team outshooting the other by a 3-1 margin after two periods, wouldn't you wonder why one team was outplaying the other so thoroughly in the conference finals?
