Well, if we are gonna read the editorial opinion of John Hinderaker’s The Center of the American Experiment, then in an effort to provide a balanced editorial response, I submit this article from The Center for American Progress (much like our long-repealed Fairness Doctrine demanded):

https://www.americanprogress.org/article/fact-sheet-trumps-rescission-request-would-slash-spending-on-foreign-assistance-programs-that-benefit-american-interests/

Good read, thank for posting it.

So Trump is a PEDO, they are trying to say that there is no Epstein client list not too long after Pam Bondi herself said she had the Epstein list on her desk. Also Alina Habba said "They have flight logs, information,  names... that will come out."

Trump is a full blown pedophile there is no denying it anymore after this. He needs to be taken out of office ASAP. Disgusting to see people support someone who molested children. Anyone that still supports Trump is a PEDO supporter.

Trump was in charge when Epsteins cameras magically turned off long enough for him to kill himself.

I don't know if Trump is on the list or not, I haven't seen it. I think it's logical that if he was on it it would have come out during the Biden/Harris administration and would have been added to the many charges he was convicted of. At a bare minimum it would have been leaked prior to the election.

Probably too many high priority names on the list. On all sides...

Curious question for the forum?

Does anyone actually click on these videos?

I can't find value in them being posted without any information to accompany them.  They feel like the equivalent of a tabloid publication.

I don't know how people feel about these things... the use of these by people, in my mind, is a clear indication to NOT pay attention to anything they have to say. That's me of course.

So I am curious, does anyone just click on this video to see what is presented?

How is this a tabloid when he shows all the videos of everything he talks about? He shows every presser and interview of Pam Bondi saying exactly what she has in possession.

I only look at what was said and what happens. Like where was Trump after he was informed about the flooding. He went golfing...

I wouldn't know what is said in the video, just like I don't know what's in a tabloid because there's nothing enticing about it that makes me want to click the link (pick up the periodical).

That was the whole point of my question.  "Does anyone actually click on these videos?"  I clearly am insinuating that I don't by saying I don't find value in them.

You posting a video that looks like every other beggar's grab for their 2:30 of attention does nothing to entice me to actually click it.  Big red arrows and the font looks like every "I test fart guns for a living and this is the best one!" type video.

At least now you've said what is actually IN the video.. to a certain degree.  Which could be helpful, still not helpful enough for me.

And I'll say it.  I honestly don't care if Trump went golfing when he does, etc.  Just like I don't give a damn when my kids get on their Xbox or when they go to sleep. I care about their grades.  If they can manage their grades and play Xbox all night, then fan-friggin-tastic. Why should I care?

People will tell me it's bad "optics". That's such a BS explanation for "you think someone should act a certain way and they didn't". Does it really matter? People demonstrate their priorities through their actions all the time.  That he went golfing should come as no surprised...

The flooding is an absolutely horrible event.. that I can isolate from what Trump was doing.

What grade would you give Trump?

I clicked on the first one I saw Demoted post, and this is in no way a shot at him or his videos, but I've never clicked on a second one.

I know you didn't ask me, but I'd say it's too early to tell. I hate the man, his messaging sucks, but he's got some wins to go with the losses.

I can't give him one at this time.  I don't like him, I know that. I don't agree with how he handles most things. I think he's surrounded (publicly) by idiots and I don't think he's all that bright himself.

What am I grading him against though?

I'd have to actually sit down and do an analysis to really go deeper.

And, I am waiting to see where things go.

That's a good point/question to consider. Maybe social norms at the times too. Take Clinton, for instance. I think he was a great president (even though he was horrible for the military), but i don't think he could have survived that scandal in today's climate.

If you don't have a baseline competency for what you expect of the president of the united states, or even a baseline level of morality you would expect that position to show towards their own citizenry, I can't give you one and frankly I can't help you at all. You are essentially abdicating your rights as a citizen and your responsibility therein to play fence sitter, which doesn't mean you are in the middle. It means you have already chosen a side.

There's the kind of post you get called out by others for making.  You've resorted to sensationalistic statements which is interesting given the nature of the person we're discussing in this thread.

"Abdicating my rights as a citizen." - This is downright ignorant and dismissive statement.  I've abdicated nothing. I clearly stated that I have to sit down to do an analysis to go deeper. I've indicated that I need to determine which criteria I want to use and how much weight I want to put into it.

Should we use mental health criteria?
Should we use fidelity criteria?
Should we use charisma criteria?
Should I use how much they lowered taxes criteria?
Should I use how much they reduced the size of government criteria?

There's a lot to actually think about and I'm only getting started.  Frankly, I've not seen a President I would rate above a C in many years and quite possibly none of them since I've been alive which means I am reduced to what I can read about other Presidential terms since I did not live them.

But, out of curiosity, which "side" have I chosen since you apparently know?

Is your assumption that I support Trump because I refused to outright dismiss him or give him a poor grade?

Who is your great role model of a President?  I'm dying to know.

Changed my mind. No response needed.
