In no world of the multiverse do I want him our primary checking option against the Crosbys of the world. Yet it seems like half the board wants to shift O'Reilly over to Eichel's wing. How is that supposed to work when O'Reilly is the great Selke type who's never won a Selke and Eichel's defense is sub par at best? Is Eichel going to be center only when the Sabres have the puck with O'Reilly doing all the heavy lifting in the defensive end? If that's the case we might as well keep them on separate lines with our franchise guy getting the sheltered minutes so he can focus on offense.
