Hoss Posted October 2, 2013 Report Share Posted October 2, 2013 If two players are getting ready to fight and just one removes his helmet, what exactly happens? I know that the player who removes his helmet gets the five minutes PLUS the two minutes for removing the helmet and that the other just gets the five minutes... But does the team of the player who DIDN'T remove his helmet get a power play? If so, how? Does somebody serve the two minute minor for the fighter and come out of the box after two minutes/a goal? I'm assuming somebody serves it just like a player getting a penalty prior to fighting. But I wasn't sure if maybe somebody around here knows for sure.
