Two or less Posted October 12, 2010 Report Share Posted October 12, 2010 With Jason Pominville out for a while, it is now time to turn to Nathan Gerbe. We'll see if he has what it takes to be a NHL forward or not. He has to take a bad situation and turn it into something good. I have always doubted that Gerbe could do it at the NHL level, but, after showing well last playoffs and doing well in pre-season, I won't lie, i am interested to see what type of player he will be. Gerbe will now know he's going to in the lineup for several games, not just a fill in for a game when someone has a bad game or a plug in for a spark. He's in, probably in a top 6 role and we'll see what type of player we truly have in Gerbe. Sabres have a tough week ahead. NJD are 0-3 and you know they will come out flying. I agree, although I think that it was more just TC that looked terrible. I also agree with this topic, it's time to put up or shut up for Gerbe.
