Simpson8
I would prefer Boynton over Witt, but either would be an upgrade. Their stats are similiar also

Are there that many potholes outside the Mmarina that the existing orange traffic pylons don't suffice? Do we really need to add 1 or 2 human ones to control traffic? Two or less
No thanks to either. Sabres need someone to play the style Ruff is preaching and someone to help with the PP. Someone like Marek Zidlicky, Lubomir Vishnovsky or Tomas Kaberle.
PASabreFan
Will the filter allow Zidlicky and Lubomir in the same sentence?
Kristian
This team don't need more defensemen, they need forwards. Centers to be exact. They need either a playmaking center for Vanek, or a defensive center to play with Grier and Hecht on a true shutdown line. Preferreably both. In both cases, that center needs to be very good on the draw to make up for the poor performance of Roy and especially Connolly. I don't see why either couldn't be part of a deal. Simpson8
They only need 1 D-man imo. Butler looks tired from playing so many games. By picking up 1 more will allow him to rest.

nobody
How about if you look at it as: sign Boyton so you can trade away Lydman or whichever Dman you prefer (and whatever other players) in order to get that center?

Boyton does't shore up anything at this point. Besides if you pick Boyton up off waivers, you have to waive a roster player.
