While Buffalo Sabres defenseman Yaroslav Spacek could probably shoot a hockey puck from the back parking lot of HSBC Arena across the watery gap, it?s a three-mile drive on existing roads. Levy, whose development panel is overseeing both inner and outer harbor rebirth, said the bridge study is on a ?purposely aggressive? timetable.

Maybe next time the reporter should stick with an easier name like Derek Roy!

Long story short,

Medaille college,

Dude gets stoned

Puts ashes in garbage

starts building on fire

runs out of building

without telling anyone

$200,000 in damages

He studies childhood education

Sounds like what a child would do (you know, playing with matches and starting a fire part) - he was just doing research.

Wait... so the sprinkler system caused 200,000 worth of damage... to put out a fire that caused maybe $5-$10, depending on what material the trashcan was made of? I think it's time for an update of fire safety technology.

And the best part is... it's all going to be blamed on smoking pot, when the same thing could have happened with a match, cigarette, etc. I love how the headline immediately points out "MARIJUANA ASHES caused..."

Not that I really care. It's just a little funny to me.
