I know the minimum in the AHL is quite low. Plenty of guys making under 100K. I think I saw 65 or 75k as the min for AHL players. I know the NHL min for this season was 475k. Like Blue said, $62,500 is the maximum allowed for entry level players, so the AHL minimum salary would have to be lower than the figures you suggested. Yeah, that's what I get for posting before reading all of the posts. :blush: Edit: Professional Hockey Players' Association site says 35k, 36k next season, and 36.5k the season after.
