I'd say that Vanek has better hands and shot-more of a skill game while Stafford is a more intense/efforted player and quicker skater. They been playing similar roles on their lines. Doohickie Posted March 5, 2007 Report Share Posted March 5, 2007 Vanek is doing fine. He just looks terrible doing it. His stats are great; his plus-minus is probably his strongest stat. And yet.... he seems like he gets muscled off the puck often, like he misses the net, like he fans on shots, a LOT. Just think about it..... he's producing goals and points and his plus-minus is excellent. If he gets just a LITTLE better, he will be a monster. Vanek is doing fine.
