We already went over this. Your ridiculous spin of what happened is laughable. Did Heatley get injured by that heinous grabbing by Peters? He sure was tough pushing Kaleta, though.

And the Sabres aren't distracted from anything. It's kind of hard to win though, when you have 6 AHL'ers replacing 6 top players. But they still win.

Wait wait wait- the fact HEatley didn't get hurt shouldn't be a factor...... either it was right- or it was wrong- and based on what the BuffaLowner said it must have been wrong. Now- as for my spin- it's hard to find a spin in fact.

So- either you can choose to live a life of illusion- or you can look at it rationally- and stop whinning.

You're obviously delusional, what with the way your Blues' season has gone. Find another team to watch and for your sake, do NOT make it the Sens (or the Sabres, for our sakes).

All that matters is who got injured. You make it sound like Peters decapitated Heatley. Heatley was able to skate away quickly from Peters and cower in the corner, and play the rest of the game. Drury?

If anything, Sens players, fans, and apologists (ahem) are the pussies who think that Ruff sending out the goons was wrong.

Why don't you take a look at your awesome coach's track record of headhunting and retaliatory fighting? It seems to be pretty well documented on YouTube.

Halfway across the ice or three inces away it doesnt matter, Drury shot the puck, could not see Neil because Neil was skating up from behind, then Neil cut him off and threw his shoulder and back into Dru's head. That was not a check that was in process before Dru shot the puck. It was a hit with intent to injure, not to make a play on the puck.

Argue about it any way you want, you're defending headhunting a guy who couldn't have known what was coming. Spezza, Heatley, and Emery all knew what was coming. Heatley pussed out after making his little shoving show, but that was his move to make. Dru had no choice.

Sending out goons is NEVER a positive event- and ordering them to go run the other team amounts to headhunting- so you choose- is it right or wrong. You can't have it both ways.

As for it being halfway or three inches- the owner said halfway- so for him to have merit- he needs to be accurate. If not accurate, then maybe none of his account is reliable.

Healtley is not a fighter- do you now suggest that it is OK for him to be assualted and attacked- but not for him to choos eto not fight?

And Must Be Dumb- (assuming that's what MBD means) don't worry- I won't be following the Sens or Sabres in place of the Blues......

Talk about inaccuracies. Are you an 800 pound writer for the Ottawa Sun?

WOW- now I understand the feelings of the Buffalo fans. The team owner feeds into the hysteria with inaccuracies and rediculus contradictory explanations.

First- the player in question did not skate halfway across the ice to deliver the hit....... it was about 5 feet at most (from when the puck was shot to the time of the hit).

Wrong. Neil skated half accoss the zone lining up Drury from the blind-side, while he had the puck. Drury released the puck, and Neil carried through the hit, high, with a shoulder to the head.

If Drury would have kept the puck and been hit, fine. But there was enough time to Neil see Drury in the act of shooting and watch him shoot, but he made no effort to pull up.

It was a dirty hit, thrown high with the intent to injure, but thrown within the rules of the league. That's the point that Golisano is making. These types of hits offer nothing to the league and should be regulated.

Next- he complains about a big man hitting a smaller man...... if he trule believes that- he needs to rebiew the tapes of his team grabbing Heatley around the head- and then the subsequent fights where the larger Buffalo players hit the smaller Ottawa players. After this review he will have no choice but to fine and discipline his own players.

Wrong again. Adam Mair is 6'1", 210lbs, Jason Spezza, 6'3" 215 lbs. Spezza is bigger than Mair. Peters is bigger than the 215 lb Heatley, but Heatley turtled and didn't fight, and Peters backed off of him.

However, the 215 lb Heatley, showing that he is a big man, did cross check the Kaleta (5'11", 195 lbs), who was playing in his first NHL game, before the face off.

So facing off against the smaller Kaleta, Heatley's a tough guy. When facing the bigger Peters, he's a turtle, and he caps off his cowardly display by watching his goaltender take shots to the head.

Until he does that- He shows no class- just whinning- and he and his team are not deserving of the respect of the rest of the league.

Golisano is class personified. He's a self-made billionaire who contributes generously to charity. He offered his season ticket holders the best deal on playoff tickets in the league last season. His team is on top of the league in points. They lead the league in merchandise sales. The regular season and the upcoming playoffs are already sold out.

Golisano already is one of the best owners in the league. The last of your inaccuracies is not recognizing this.
