  1. Sabres have points in four straight games with a 3-0-1 record. Hurricanes have won three straight and lead the Southeast division with 25 points at 12-8-1. Hurricanes netminder Cam Ward out 6-8 weeks with an MCL injury. Pat Kaleta will miss his first game of five after being suspended for his hit from behind on Brad Richards. Will Thomas Vanek return after missing the last two games? Will Ryan Miller start yet again? Can RR fix the Sabres' dreadful Power Play? NHL.com Game Preview: http://www.nhl.com/i...avid=sb:preview Let's Go Buffalo!!!
  2. OK. 3 more and they're at "official" .500; 4 more and they're at the much more meaningful DeLuca .500. I'm pleased to say that I'll be having a huge steak dinner on Sunday evening and then attending the game. Wearing my Miller jersey. My first GDT of this year, and of the Rolston era. Go Sabres.
  3. Is the dream alive? Have the Sabres turned a corner after sweeping their two-game road trip through the state of Florida? They're now 2-2 under new coach Ron Rolston, who will take a second shot at his first home win at First Niagara Center, where Buffalo is a woeful 3-6-1 this season.
  4. Can the Sabres pull off the South Florida sweep? Panthers pulled off a big win Tuesday against the Pens scoring 6 goals while going 4 for 7 on the PP. Florida's rookies have been carrying the team. Drew Shore and Johnathan Huberdeau are both in the top 6 in team scoring, Huberdeau is 2nd in the league for rookie scoring. Peter Mueller is turning out to be a signing well worth the risk due to his past injuries. Not sure if Clemmensen or Theodore will be in net, rumors have it Theodore is being shopped but he got pulled last game and Clemmensen shut down the Pens in the 3rd for the win. Jacob Markstrom is the future, he'll be called up as soon as a spot opens up. Sabres are 8-5-1 in Florida since the last lockout, 4-1-1 in the last 6. It's my first GDT so let's make it worth it. Go Sabres!
  5. The Bruins come in to the game with a 7-1-1 record and well rested after their Saturday game against the Lightning was postponed due to Nemo the Nor'Easter. The Sabres at 5-6-1 are on a two game win streak by an Act of God with a little help from Thomas Vanek and Ryan Miller. NHL.com Preview: http://www.nhl.com/i...m?id=2012020168
  6. 4-6-1is not the start anyone had hoped for. Time to see if this team is capable of carrying over the momentum of a last second goal and OT win.
  7. The Habs just suffered a tough 2-1 loss to the Bruins last night. Can the Sabres get out of this ugly funk against one of the Eastern Conference's Leaders? Sabres GAA of 3.7 is the worst in the NHL. http://www.nhl.com/i...avid=sb:preview
  8. Current losing streak has this board in an uproar. Lets hope this game is the start of something better. Recall from Rochester, Pardy up. (Probably NSFW) http://youtu.be/YFF3EaclEEE
  9. Brush it off let's go! The top line of Pominvile, Vanek, and Hodgson continues to dominate on offense, with 18 points and eight of the team's 10 goals. But they were on the ice for five of the six goals against Thursday. And a power play that was 3-for-10 in the first two games went 0-for-6 and allowed a shorthanded goal.
