I'm old enough to remember Lindy Ruff as a player, but only vaguely.

Is there a link to this? I'd like to see full comments from some of our players.

Why would you not expect a victory? Two years ago: Derek Roy goes down with an injury. Team gets better. One year ago: Paul Gaustad is traded for a draft pick. Team gets better. This year: Lindy Ruff is fired. ......Team gets better? You take something away from the Sabres and they get better. And they're much more talented than they've shown so far.

Are we allowed to start a GDT before game day? What are the legal ramifications?

He "went for the puck" by elbowing a guy in the back of the head and -- shocker! -- it turned out to be Hossa. The NHL is a joke. In a related story, Jeff Skinner is out with a concussion for the second straight year in Carolina. It'd be cool if the league cared about its star players getting brain injuries.

If Regier is still the GM, then I'm sad for the team and happy for Lindy.

"Interim" means he won't be the coach next fall. Although it is the Sabres.... It's only been an hour but I'm starting to get angry that Regier is still hanging on. This is still more Regier's mess than Ruff's.
