I said nothing about what response would be better, just what the legalities are. I sat on a jury pool and they discussed some aspects of the case and this is exactly the scenario they discussed pre-trial and they said if someone said they felt threatened they can swing first and it's still considered self defense. I thought that when I expressed a sentiment similar to yours they'd throw me off the jury but they didn't.

I've been thinking about it and... it doesn't bother me that teams in the pack around the Sabres are winning their share of games. I think it will motivate the Sabres to scratch and claw for every point. I don't want them to feel too cocky. Yet.
