But the point is- you can't predict ahead of times which ones will bloom and which will thud. When we picked him up I seem to remember someone did a comparison and he looked comparable to Hasek with Chicago. It was worth a shot. It's frustrating I know, but Kevyn's whole philosophy is based on value contracts in order to build a roster that provides sustainable performance.

I'm not saying they're definitely making a move but yes I'm sure he's always out there doing "due diligence" just in case the right deal comes up.

A quick survey of goalie injuries reported this month: Anaheim- John Gibson - Dec 18 - Out indefinitely - Personal (birth of child) (Calle Clang, Lukas Dostal on roster) Dallas- Jake Oettinger - Dec 18 - Out indefinitely - Lower Body - (Matt Murray, Scott Wedgewood on roster) Detroit- Ville Husso - Dec 18 - Ques Wed Detroit- Alex Lyon - Dec 18 - Out indefinitely - Lower Body (James Reimer on roster) Los Angeles- Pheonix Copley - Dec 18 - Out indefinitely - Lower Body (Cam Talbot, David Rittich on roster) New Jersey- Vitek Vanecek - Dec 17 - Ques Tues - Undisclosed (Nico Daws, Akira Schmid on roster) Seattle - Philipp Grubauer - Dec 10 - Out indefinitely - Lower Body (Joey Daccord, Chris Driedger on roster) Toronto - Joseph Woll - Dec 9 - Out indefinitely - Ankle (Martin Jones, Ilya Samsonov on roster) Vegas - Adin Hill - Dec 17 - Ques Tues - Undisclosed (Jiri Patera, Logan Thompson on roster) I grayed out the Questionables, assuming they are short term. But there are teams that may be looking for help. I'm sure the Sabres are looking at each team's situation and trying to see if there's a mutually beneficial deal available involving Comrie.

Pancho Billa (Ezra Castro) was perhaps the most dedicated Bills fan ever. He was born in El Paso and was living in Dallas when he passed away. RIP Ezra

I said basically the same thing on that play.

You bring up an interesting point. All time leading QB rushing touchdowns: Cam Newton - 75 TD Josh Allen - 49 TD Steve Young - 43 TD Jack Kemp - 40 TD

Even the Second Best guy has acknowledged as much.

Maybe Adams can sell high with Comrie.

Unless they can peddle him; a few goalie injuries around the league. -
Eh, we just let them lay.

Watch Kevyn get like a second rounder for him or something 😄

...and the major contributor in my yard is a pecan tree. They don't drop leaves singly, they drop them in clusters attached to a stem. Each leaf is about 4" long.

That feeling you get the day after you clear all the leaves out of your yard but the trees are still dropping... 😕

It doesn't excuse all the blown wins. McDermott will coach a stellar defensive effort only to go to a week prevent at the end and hand victory to the other team. He's done it again and again and again.
-
It's not *just* the 13 seconds. It's that the Bills would LITERALLY be in first place if he could kill an opponent's drive on the last possession of a game. How many has he blown this year? 4? It's gotten so predictable that when the Bills have a late go-ahead drive you just know the other team is going to drive right back down the field. Only a stupid mental error by Toney prevented that against KC last week. McClappy has just about the worst end-of-game management I've ever seen. You can't be a "great coach" if you can't protect a late lead.
