This is where I am at.  I don't care they have Tage and Cozens signed.
mitts is a more determined winger than Skinner and Tuch combined.  One of those two need go this summer (or before) to help bring in a legit top pair RHD

Skinner ain't going nowhere without a massive salary retention....not going to happen.

  2. Even if he is traded, I still would not be surprised if he is re-signed again in the offseason again by GMKA.  Meanwhile with the Sabres.....I would not be surprised if nobody else get's the "C" in his place as they will save it for KO next season.  Dahlin, Girgs (if he is still here) and Tuch will all wear "A's" to close out this season.

IMHO - It's time to move on from KO, but GMKA will bring him back.

I don't think anyone would accept Adams coming back with the same roster next season.

I don't think anyone expects Adams to give up on his young core.

Moving on from all or most of free agents Girgensons, Okposo, Robinson, Jost, Olofsson, EJ and Comrie will create the roster and cap space to make additions, and our prospect capital gives us ammunition to translate those additions to improvements.

I'm curious what people think about how much more the rest of the current roster has to give?

How much improvement should we expect from within?

(If you think a player is going to give us roughly the same, leave the box unticked)

I know this is a player discussion, but I would also LIKE to think that people would not accept coming back with the same COACH next season as well, but this is Pegula, so no amount of stupidity is beyond his reach.

I’d characterize our prospect pool as wide and flat rather than deep.  A large amount of the same type of player at forward - so much so you couldn’t build a balanced NHL team.

Wash, rinse and repeat....Buffalo's scouting and drafting strategy (only small forwards without grit need to apply).  No room for bigger prospects who play heavy or have a mean streak edge to their games.
