  1. The OP gave us two options, so I chose the gritty team vs. current one.  No doubt most everybody wants a combination of both, but that is not a survey option.

What I think the results indicate is how poorly ownership & management understand what the Buffalo fans want (or don't want).  Give us a tough, hard working team that puts in an effort every night and we'll still like our team (even when they lose).  Give us a bunch of lazy, wimpy players...we can care less, especially when they lose.

Cozens is all heart and this is hurting him and his pride. But I don’t see him being the type to just keep accepting this. He will try to improve. I believe that. His vocal fry, however, belongs on the bachelor.

Insaid it in another thread but when Sergei Gonchar offers advice to a Quinn Hughes, his resume dictates that he should be listened to and respected. Matt Ellis commands absolutely nothing.

As for Byram I’m not so sure he will bolt so soon but it could mean Power is moved for other pieces.

Cozens needs to seriously gain strength and weight this off-season.  He needs to be able to physically play harder than his skinny body allows right now.

The hit stats with Power are truly amazing.

Clifton has a LOT less ice time than Power but he has 182 hits on the year. Dahlin has 170. Samuelsson in half of a season has 106. Even Jokiharju has over 80.  The top D-men in the league have over 200. Lauzon (Nashville) has almost 340.

Power?  39 hits for the year.

Somebody should have threatened Power that he has to hit or have to do "Bald for Bucks" tonight....Maybe that would motivate him?!?!

Tonight’s game is just another perfect example of how erroneous people are when they try to defend keeping Granato by making the claim “but these guys LOVE Granato”. When players love a coach they will play like they’d skate through a brick wall for said coach. There is NOTHING in this team that has ever said to me, ooh, these guys are giving it their all and would do anything to win for their coach or themselves for that matter.  Please just stop with the these guys love Granato so let’s bring him back.

Tell that to TP and GMKA....they're the ones who still believe this
