The Sabres lack an elite forward who can carry the puck thru the neutral zone with speed and into the offensive zone while maintaining control/possession. Tage has shown no ability to do so this season. Gotta say Jack Eichel was pretty good at doing this and the Sabres miss that kind of player.

8 seems to be perpetually our number. To me it's ironic because it is the shape of a demolition derby track, which is exactly what Buffalo is, a continual wrecking mess.

Yes, but GMKA also said he was NOT shopping Mitts....he's a liar in my book and I don't trust DG either. That said, I would expect to see them playing together tonight just as you mentioned.

Our forwards collectively lack the ability to carry the puck over the blue line and maintain possession. Offensive zone entries have been bad for quite a while now.
