  1. Ironic that you would chose the Constitution for the Democrat portion
  2. If you look at the history of Obama and gun control, particularly his time in Chicago, he is quite outspoken on this matter. I agree he hasn't pushed the issue ... the Dems in Congress simply did not have the stomach for it. As d4rksabre commented, this is a 2nd term issue for Obama.
  3. Then what you are talking about is the Federal government getting involved. We are living under the most Liberal, anti-gun administration in recent memory, and even they are giving away automatic assault weapons to Mexican drug gangs. You need to stop believing in the power of Big Brother, they only make things worse and create more of the type of people you are afraid of. And I find it a bit ironic that you would cite slavery in your examples, seems to me the side with the best armed and most ruthless citizenry won that one ;).
  4. There is no amount of gun control regulations that could prevent this event or the Aurora event. When someone has their mind set on doing something like this, they are going to find a way. If passing more laws that won't get enforced makes you feel better, so be it, but you won't be solving the problem.
  5. Leino's goal against Toronto on March 31. Great puck handling, great display of power, Timmy totally failed on the backcheck. At the time, I thought it would ignite a comeback in the game, continue the streak toward the playoffs, and mark the official revival of Leino. Oh well... hopefully it was at least a sign of times to come.
  6. Ridiculous boarding penalty. Hit was from the side with the lead arm in front of the Thrashers shoulder.
  7. http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl "Sabres sink teeth into best league start ever Buffalo, the team with no superstars and goofy new uniforms, matched the best start in NHL history on Thursday. " Even when the Sabres are making history, the slug rears it's ugly head.
