Ahhhhhh I have to say that was a great play. We drew up and one of our best shooters got a great look. Obviously disappointing, but we got one of our top guys look and you gotta give credit to that goalie. And then as we see often their guys cash it in. I have to say, though I’m not terribly disappointed overall in tonight

Completely disagree that they look disinterested. They’ve played well. We’re down a bunch of important guys if you didn’t realize it. Lyon has also played out of his mind. He’s very interested it appears.

If he was tough and gritty and really was a presence out there, I would have way more patience for him with so many of these consistent little mistakes. But his lack of tenacity and anything resembling nastiness just amplifies every dumb mistake he makes, of which there seems to be many every single game. He’s one of the most frustrating top picks I’ve ever watched on the Sabres.
