  1. Yes, judging by Miller's behavior while a member of the Sabres, these comments might make him cry
  2. I feel it is my duty as a proper forum goer with class to report these types of responses to a moderator.
  3. Wouldn't matter your mind is set But To rebuttal your points, quickly 1. Sheer volume absolutely contributed to his win total. 2. Sheer volume absolutely contributed to his win total. When you play 70 games a year you are going to be up there in wins regardless of how good you actually are Fair enough. He asked me to respond, though
  4. So, trading some of our prospects, some of who will never make the NHL, screws up the plan?
  5. So you're banking on the hit or miss strategy of "prospects" instead of wanting a proven commodity
  6. Are there any concrete reasons Cozens needs to stay at center? You wouldn't pay Horvat say 8 million for 4 years? 28 is too old for the NHL now?
  7. Heavily agree on that last sentence and I am also not sure why most of this board is against acquiring Bo Horvat
  8. So you're saying, right now, Cozens is better than Horvat? I don't agree. Cozens could be moved to winger if you're really worried about that. Granato moved Thompson to center and that worked out better than anyone hoped. You could have a second line of Cozens, Horvat and Oloffson. Or change Oloffson out. I wouldn't mind seeing Oloffson getting more minutes, in the form of playing on the second line. When the Peterka, Quinn, Cozens line was struggling I'm not sure why Oloffson did not get moved up. Simple and easy change there Cozens is not great at face offs, Horvat is. Cozens could become our defacto tough guy winger. Unless I'm missing something that paints a clear picture that Cozens needs to stay a center
  9. Sabres should get in on Horvat
  10. I do not disagree with your overall premise or your passion for the team. This is a team, to me, that even if they made the playoffs by some incredible turn of events, would get tossed in the first round anyway. They have been so bad for so long that I guess even a moderate improvement is enough to have people think what your original post states. Which is fine, I suppose. I would like to see them make the playoffs before I get fired up again. They have a long way to go, but yes, there are a few bright spots.
  11. This is not aging well, unfortunately
  12. Bryson, Mittlestadt and Jokiharju
  13. Hopefully the Sabres don't leave Anderson out to dry like they've been doing
  14. I think the original question was is Sam Reinhart a leader.
  15. Thanks for the answer. Seems unfair to draft a player and then he can somehow leave anyway.
  16. If anything, that Florida team last year elevated Reinhart, not the other way around.
  17. He wasn't supremely talented, but at least he was willing to fight. Florida must really like Sabres players. They can have Mittlestadt, too.
  18. Don't we already have Devon Levi in the system? Maybe this does not matter.
