I realize it's not a popular take, but i think they gotta send Benson back to the WHL. While he shows flashes of being very good, his potential is enormous, let him cook in the WHL and light up the score sheet. I think besides the few nice flashes he makes, he just loses the puck too easily too many times. He just doesn't seem strong enough for this level. I think as theres more tape on the kid teams gonna feast on him more.
I tend to agree, but I have a feeling KA will keep him here for the season.Ā

I will continue to beat the dead horse that Power had no business being handed that contract. Ā His refusal to play any defense other than stick checking is not acceptable, and shame on DG and the other coaches for doing nothing about it. Iād sit his a$$ in the press box until he shows in practice that he will engage the opposition.Ā

IMO VO still has trade value for some team starved for goal scoring and PP help. Ā Maybe not a premium pick, but a 3rd or 4th round pick for a guy who can pot 25-30 goals on on an expiring deal would be a decent deal for the team acquiring VOā¦.especially if put on a line with two linemates who are more than adequate in terms of two way play.Ā
