That's 3/4 and they're playing pretty well. Ellis was great and he seems like a good kid. Easy to root for. Maybe we shouldn't give up on Quinn so fast. After a rough first period, he was outstanding. Achilles injuries can be a bear to come back from for skaters; maybe he's finally coming around. Time will tell. Anyway, a lot of good to take from this one. Keep grinding. On to the next one...

One good period isn't enough, fellas. That was a fun two games before this, but the warts are still here. The roster isn't good enough, the coaching sucks, they aren't good enough. Adams has been the GM for 64 months and this team isn't much better than when he took over. He has objectively failed. Enough.

It's distressing how far ahead the Habs are in their rebuild when we were in such similar places just a couple of seasons ago. Their front office understood the assignment and knows how to build a good cohesive roster through smart/aggressive trades and signings. Since we kicked off rebuild v3.0, the Habs made a Stanley Cup Finals (fluke or not), tore their roster down to the bones and launched a full rebuild. Now, just 4 seasons later they look like a really good team and we're still spinning our tires. Fire Adams.
