Since getting blown out by Florida on March 6th and starting with that win over Vegas at home, the Sabres are 21-10-3. That's a 108.5 point pace. I'm coming around to the thought that we are THAT good.

I watch a lot of hockey and I'm hard pressed to find a more fun team to watch than these guys right now.

I love this team. 10 games in: Olofsson - 8, Tage & Tuch - 7, Dahlin - 6 goals Hard to believe Krueger's slumber offense was less than 2 years ago. This is a damn good hockey team. There will be bumps in the road ahead, but we need to remember that THIS is what they're capable of.

Checking in late, love the way this team fights. I was at the girls gymnastics following along on the game tracker. Got a weird feeling they'd fight back after falling behind 3-1 (most dangerous lead in hockey) and damned if they haven't. Now let's hold on... Also, love the jerseys...hate the white pants.

I liked the team from the first few games better.

The Oilers are my second favorite team, I've watched a lot of their games, so I'm familiar with Bear. Truth is, he isn't very good...that's why he's been traded twice. Would he have been an upgrade on Fitz or Pilut? Sure, I suppose marginally, but not enough of an upgrade to make much of a difference, IMO.

Can't lose games like that. Definitely can't lose back-to-back games like that. They're gonna have to make some kind of move to bolster the defense. Pilut ain't an NHL player.

I'm kinda hoping that KA might shop Mitts around for some help. He has his moments where you can see his potential, then he'll loaf for a couple of shifts. Starting to feel like a change of scenery would be best for everyone.

I hope so. It's unwatchable right now. Once the refs hands go up, that signals bathroom/snack break for me.

Comrie is the real deal. Moves around well, almost always in good position and tracks the puck well. Tuesday was an anomaly with the D constantly hanging him out to dry. My biggest concern with this team right now is the power play. It's a total sludge fart.

Anyway, that's enough for me tonight. If you woulda told me we'd take 3/4 on this trip, I'd say "yes, please", so not too upset. Just wish they would've showed up tonight. On to to the next one.
