What the hell, I'm into my pre-game BM and feeling a bit spry. The Yotes haven't been shut out all season. In the last eight days, they've beaten a good Islanders team and the big, bad Bruins. They've won three straight on their home ice. They're well coached, scrappy, and play very hard. If you're expecting less than a dogfight, you should forfeit watching the game.

Yotes are a scrappy team that plays hard, but we out-talent them up and down the lineup. Should be an easy win, but I suspect it'll be a little more challenging than we'd like. I'll say 5-3 Sabres with an empty-netter.

This is just a fun team to watch.

Okie Dokie

Cozens centers one of the more exciting lines in the league right now. The fact that his game has gone to a different level on a line with two rookies says a lot about him. Says a lot about Jack and JJ, too.

Best part is that he doesn't appear to be streaky. Not a guy that gets goals/points in bunches, then disappears for a while. He's been pretty consistently productive for most of last season and so far this.

A guy with his size and skill is a very rare thing. His shot is absolutely lethal. I was a bit concerned last year would prove to be an anomaly and he'd struggle to build on such a meteoric rise, but he's actually gotten better. Who knows what his ceiling is, but it's waaaaaay higher than anyone imagined. KA may have got himself a steal with that contract.

Fun game. Wish we could've potted a few more in the 3rd, but oh well. Still don't like UPL in net. He just doesn't look like an NHL goalie at all. Would be happy never seeing Pilut or Bryson again. Won by 5 goals and Pilut was -2. Yikes. But that's some Debbie Downer *****...nice to see them filling up the stat sheet. On to the next one...
