Not really a fair statement for an 18 year old kid who has been on a world wind tour with four teams this season with multiple stints on the QMJHL Remparts and the Sabres. IMO, The possibility of mental and physical fatigue has to be factored into any consideration. I think we'll see a much better version of Grigs after the offseason where he can get stronger going into next year. Hopefully he'll be with the Sabres for the entire season under one coach and one system where he can develop chemistry with teammates and show fulfill more of the promise of his immense talent moving forward. Girgenson's awesome goal:

The league is focused on increasing HRR, so it will never happen. It would be better for the quality of play, but that's not the priority unfortunately.
