  1. Oh I completely agree. But if the reports out there are correct that Adams is looking for a 2C then there’s no room for Kulich (unless they bring in a vet for a year or two until Kulich is ready). I really like Kulich and think he’s going to be a very good cost effective player. Maybe if we don’t get that top 6 winger he can play wing.
  2. So a player I’ve been thinking about is Kulich. He’s a center, right? And he’s not really a bottom 6 type of center. If we go and get a 2C then what are we going to do with Kulich? He’s not a 4th line guy. Do we send him back to Rochester? i think he’s possibly going to be a big piece going out in a trade because there’s not really a place for him.
  3. So center spine would be Norris - ? - McLeod. But do we have a spot for a top 6 winger if we bring back Peterka?
  4. I have no idea how to link an article from my Bleacher Report app But here are some highlights: “Lightning Must Trade for JJ Peterka Amid Stanley Cup Hopes Frank Seravalli of The Daily Faceoff reported that the Lightning are one of several teams interested in adding Buffalo Sabres left wing JJ Peterka via trade this off-season. The Lightning need depth and adding a top-tier winger to the roster that already has Brandon Hagel and the great Nikita Kucherov would certainly do that. The question is what Tampa would have to give up in return. Draft picks, a quality defenseman, and/or a center would likely be involved as the Sabres continue to look for ways back to the playoffs for the first time in 14 years. Peterka is a future star at a position of need. Giving up a center or defenseman, both of which the team has in abundance compared to their depth issues at winger, is a small price to pay for a player who theoretically could come in, provide an immediate offensive spark, and help the team keep pace with the Panthers, Toronto, Carolina, New York, and New Jersey, all off whom are strong candidates to emerge from the Eastern Conference in any given season.“
  5. Can we afford (or want to pay) both him and UPL? They would make a pretty good 1-2 and it would allow Levi another year at least in Rochester where I think he needs to be.
  6. Come on gents. This is crunch time. I need both of your input during this week. Let’s stay cool.
  7. Love the Dobson deal. &nbsp Don’t like Byram deal at all. Not enough of a return (unless I’m wrong about Liligren).
  8. I’m not saying Kevyn was wrong giving him that contract. I’m saying trading Power would look as Kevyn being wrong twice.
  9. It’s more about Adams would have to admit he was wrong twice. Once when picking him first overall, and also wrong in the contract he gave him. GM’s don’t like to trade the players they invested greatly in.
  10. Dang. Just when I started to get excited about the possibility.
  11. A lot of experts are saying this draft is weaker than normal years. And if Adams can’t find the right deal then yeah, make the pick. Do what’s best for the team. Don’t make a bad move just because there’s pressure to win now.
  12. Sorry. I was agreeing with you. I don’t think fighting and toughness go hand in hand
  13. Musty! The WNY guy! He’s a big boy too.
  14. I agree. Let’s say Bennett never fights. Would you say he is soft?
  15. Adams is not trading Power.
  16. That offer Wouldn’t be enough. But didn’t they just fire the coach because they chose oettinger over him?
  17. Eh. He’s dookie.
  18. Are they going to need to make moves to keep everyone under the cap? And if we trade for them then they won’t have a choice (barring a nmc).
  19. I don’t think he’s here to help us. We’re here to help him. I think Adams is just helping his buddy get his end of playing career started.
  20. I’ve said falling back those two spots couples haunt us.
  21. Y’all notice Jacks neck has never been an issue since leaving Buffalo?
  22. Can he play defence?
  23. Shoot. Works for us.
  24. Is there a reason Blues would want to do this?
