I’ve typically been a defender of Adams and wanted him to see this through. After that trade, I’m officially out. Inexcusable trade and there’s no way him or anyone can say it was a good/smart trade. This guy was barely an NHL’er. On top of it, he’s an RFA. Laughable and embarrassing trade. He’s gotta go.

It might’ve been already discussed, but with this guy being an RFA, why didn’t we just offer sheet him? With such a low salary I’m sure the compensation would’ve been lower than an early-ish 2nd.

Those guys aren’t prospects.

None of those guys have potential like Dickinson and Buiuv.

I know he brings something different and I like that. But we could really use more/better defensive prospects. It’s like that little guy Montreal took a couple years ago.

I’m a little pissed. This organization definitely could’ve used Dickinson much more than Helenius. Dickinson would enter as the number 1 defensive prospect. Easily. Where Helenius is not even a top 3 Center prospect. I know different styles of play, but he’s behind Savoi, Kukick and Östlund. Maybe he’s a better fit for a bottom 6 Center than the other guys, but he’s still behind.

We’re all reading and thinking about all these scenarios Adams can improve the team. Imagine if he does nothing and then tells us how he tried but nothing hit.

I saw one that had him go to us as well. I’d be happy to take a chance on him. I like the way he plays. Worries me when I saw he basically did nothing before last year. One year wonders scare me sometimes.
