I’m not even sure. Once Sabres don’t draft them I don’t really pay attention. So I’m not even sure if I was right or wrong for wanting them. I just remember I really really wanted one of them.

That author is right. Signing him to a 7 year, 7.6 million dollar contract at 30 years old is not a good idea.

The nice thing about the Bryam situation is he’s still under team control next year. So if Adams doesn’t find the right trade he can sit and wait.

Y’all remember Max Comtois? Loved his potential when he was on the Ducks. Big forward who could score. He went over to the KHL and had a great season. He’s thinking of coming back to NHL and I think he’d make a nice bottom 6 guy. He can’t be much worse than the guys we got on that 4th line.

I’ve read two different articles now how badly the Rangers need a top pairing LHD. Bryam is the exact type of “splash” move the Rangers like to make. What’s causing this move to not happen? Is Drury more likely to not trade with us because of the history of him here? In same division? Adams isn’t very good at trades? Bryam for Schnieder. Is that close in value?

When you take a guy 4th overall and he’s barely averaging 10 goals per year…. Yeah, that’s pretty bust-ish. He wasn’t the rough tough guy he is now either. Bennett was pretty much a bust before being traded to Florida.

I keep thinking about how much Cuylle and Schneider would help this team since you mentioned them earlier. The Rangers are going to lose some players one way or the other. Would love for the Sabres to be the benefactors of the Rangers cap predicament. And Demko would be a big upgrade over UPL. Wonder what we would have to offer just to get them to listen.

Not that long ago Bennett was pretty much considered a complete bust.

A couple years ago we moved to a place in way northern NY called Canton (home of Jordan Greenway). My kid was 4 when we got here and everyone said he was already behind his peers with hockey. Parents were putting their kids on the ice at 2. It’s not always the kids that want this. It’s the parents.

I like ruthless. I love it. The anti Zegras. Kids like Zegras want hitting taken out of hockey and for it to be figure skating with scoring.

And Reino was definitely the better draft pick.

I’m starting to be ok with some of the players in our area. Of course I’d like someone to “fall” to us. Only player I really don’t want is Eklund and that’s only because I think we already have prospects like him.

There’s some good options this year. Bouchard, Dobson Knies, Rossi, McTavish and a couple other good players.

I feel like we are the team that other teams would JUMP on our pick and let us have the player. We could be the McKenna lottery ticket.

All depends what team it is and where we think their 1st is going to be. But still, let’s say we get a lower tier team to offer sheet Peterka. And let’s say that pick becomes the 10th overall selection. Not only are we basically hoping that pick becomes a player close to as good as Peterka, but also waiting 3 plus years for him to get to Petrekas level.

Buh bye. Hopefully we get a solid return for him.

I’m always disappointed by how easily he’s tackled sometimes.

Jacksonville is paying him something like 11 million this year. So he’s making bank wherever he goes. Might as well go some place he knows he can produce and is well liked (in the locker room). I doubt he gets anything too expensive this year.

It’s what Pegula and Adams deserve.

You guys see the awesome logo for the Utah Mammoths? I love it. I’m thinking about jumping ship and becoming a fan of that franchise. I can’t stand a single move the Sabres are making. I don’t like when people hop on bandwagons after a team is successful or about to become successful or I’d jump on the Sharks. They are going to be fun to watch.
