You know how in football RB’s careers can be shorted if they get too many carries? Their bodies get worn down and they just fall off.

Dang. Where did this come from? I love it. In the beginning of the season there were so many posters on here saying to waive or trade UPL to make room for our “definite” 1A Levi.
Some people here were laughing when someone asked who the starter this year was going to be and didn’t automatically anoint Levi as the obvious choice. -

i can’t believe you actually erased the thread. If you guys can’t take constructive criticism then you are going to lose members. You did exactly what so many of us have a problem with. -
I should also add I do actually appreciate what you guys do that allow us to have this forum. But just wish you would tone down the power trip.

The Mods on this forum make it difficult for me to continue to come back.
I visit other boards and no other mods act like this.They’ll probably lock and erase this soon enough. They don’t like criticism.

Why do we need another 20 year old defenseman right now? Especially an entitled one? We already have Dahlin, Power and Muel all getting paid, plus R Johnson is coming along. Trading for Jiricek is going to mean spending and inordinate amount of $$ on another young defender someday.
If we want to win more games then we really need a solid veteran in his prime, 28-30 years old, shoots from RH, and is a big, mean, stay at home type of defenseman. We should trade a prospect and pick for that. We need someone to stabilize things on the backline right now.
Forgive my lack of hockey knowledge, but is there a player out there like that who is possibly available?

He should then be a buyer. He needs to find a real 3/4 center, a top 4 D, and at least one upgrade over KO and Girgensons on the 4th line. The guy has to have some term left on his contract.
This is pretty much how I feel too. Bring in someone that is not a rental that can help us next year and beyond.

Where would Jiricek play though? Could he partner up with Dahlin or Power or are their styles too similar? (Forgive me, I don’t know hockey as much).
i doubt he gets to QB the PP like he wants with the guys ahead of him. -
