Since I don't believe in heaven or hell, i really hope OJ suffered in his battle vs cancer.
There are only a few people in this world I would wish that type of pain on.   He is one of them

    sorry if that offends.

    Woah.  The glove didn’t fit….  🙂

Idk, I go back and forth with it. I love Ladd McConkey as a player but I think in my brain I want that bigger physical guy for contested balls who is a true deep threat. That said, Ladd is so solid.

I think he’ll be a better pro than college player (depending where he gets drafted).

One of those is a 4th round pick. The other you're suggesting in the 1st. I'd rather take AD Mitchell

Oh me too.  But if Mitchell is gone then Beanne could go Coleman.  That’s all I’m saying.

They won't take Coleman at 28.

In my opinion, hopefully not.  I want someone more dynamic and athletic.  But we’ve seen Beanne draft for a position of need and talking next best before.  After missing out on McDuffie he went next best and took Elam.
Coleman is essentially a better Gabe Davis.  Better route running.  Better catching.  Much better after the catch.  And their athletic profile is basically the same.  I’ll let you decide who is who.

i don’t necessarily prefer Coleman.  But I do believe he is in play for a Beanne if he stays at 28 or possibly trades down a little.

I love Ladd a lot. He is the type of guy that you can trust and he runs some great routes all while being just a good dude. That said, no IMPO. As @inkman notes, Ladd's primary area of use would be in the middle of the field on short and intermediate routes. He is taller Beasley in some ways. I just don't think the Bills need that skilset per say. Kincaid and Samuel should be able to easily cover just about all the routes that Ladd can. I would certainly wait until the 2nd round on him even though I think he has the makings of a very good WR. Love the player but dislike the fit for the Bills without Diggs around. I think AD Mitchell would be a better option at 28. If Ladd slides in the 2nd round and were available at that spot, I would get him there as I think he could help but if we are team building, I look elsewhere.

    Personally I would trade up.

I could totally see Beanne taking up for Brian Thomas or Chop.  I think/hope Mitchell or Coleman makes it to 28 if he can’t trade up.
The WR I don’t like and hope the Bills pass on is Worthy.  He’s just fast.
But I trust Beanne.  He’s hit on WR’s before.

    @LGR4GM

is he a fit for the Bills?

He’s one of my favorite receivers in this draft.  I think he would fit really well but I’m thinking the Bills might be after a different skill set.  Beanne could possibly be looking for a bigger bodied pure outside X receiver.   We already have a bunch of guys that can play inside/outside like Ladd.  I’m not sure how I feel about Keon Coleman yet, but that’s my guess to what I think Beanne is looking for.
i just don’t want Ladd going to the Chiefs.

That's the reverse logic so I assume you're trying to be funny or take a shot but the point holds. There are lots of first round picks who never become what they were projected to be. Wright might still become a decent player but he's a disappointment at this stage.

The thing is if you are going to trade prospects you have to move them at a point where the other team still thinks they have high end value. You have to make that decision when you think they might not be that guy or not as good as you hoped but also not seen as a bust yet by the other guy. It's tricky and as a fan I get you never want to lose a potentially good player.

But I don't want another season of "look at all these guys we have coming in the future". I want a team on the ice that can make the playoffs and win in the playoffs. To get there we need to let a few prospects go and take our chances on that. The roster does not have a good veteran mix. It lacks leadership. It's a ship with no captain and it has leaks. I don't even want a draft pick this year. Trade it. I'm really tired of "next year".

Well yeah.  Just an attempt to be funny. I’m crushing it on this board recently….

But I thought Wright was doing pretty good in the AHL.  Is he not?  It’s not like you could snag him for anything less than a mid- high 1st.

Kulich is an unproven prospect. He's of no value until he is (in the NHL)

Using that logic we should go get Shane Wright from the Kraken.  He’s done nothing in the NHL.  🙂

It ain’t about owning/not owning one’s opinions, it’s about not being a douche in the process, which Mr. Allen was, but that’s just my opinion. 😂

Opinions can and should be flexible based on the information they are based on at the time they are formed. And there is nothing wrong with that.

Mr Allen tried to come to this Bills topic with info that he received and was told he was wrong and to stop getting all his info from the media.
The info I was trying to share was not speculation.  It was well known knowledge inside the Buffalo Bills organization.
I understand I acted like a douche to those two posters.  But go and look, ink came at me first. Acting if I was an idiot who gathers info from the media.  It’s hard having patience with fans and posters like them.  Just watch, they continue to flip flop but yet continue to act as if they are still always correct.  Is fine.  It’s cool.  I just don’t need to listen to guys like them.

Still thinking I was just listening to all that crazy media?  lol.
Yeah, I was WAY off.  🙂

The problem I had was you and Aud Smell(?) acted like you knew what was going on.  Talking like you KNEW Diggs wasn’t an issue inside the organization and anyone who suggested otherwise was wrong and crazy for thinking it.  You guys come on here and act like you know so much about the Bills.  But you both were so completely wrong and dismissed everything I tried to tell you as me just “listening to the media”.  When I’m fact, I never once said anything about the media.  I don’t get much of any of my Bills info from the media.  I have other ways that you probably only wish you had.  But it’s all good.  Nice to see you both backtracking on here.  lol.

    Peace

  11. It’s great that you guys are buddies with that poster or might even think he’s pretty darn cool.  But the fact of the matter is you guys are on a hockey forum talking football.  That’s enough for me to not click on this topic again.  All good.  Go Bills.

Agree with you (partially) on Diggs.  I'd be open to the team not losing much if he wasn't here.

But your take on members of this forum sticking to Hockey is way, WAY out of line.  Many posters here follow the Bills just as much as the Sabres.  Just because someone 'likes' hocky more or likes to 'talk' hockey more on this forum, doesn't mean their opinion should be invalidated or put down because its here vs 'over there'.

You’re right.  Just guys like the person I’m referencing are the problem.  There are people on here that do know football.  But that guy clearly doesn’t.
I just don’t need to discuss football on a hockey forum.  Just like I don’t go on a football forum to talk hockey.

I don’t think Diggs has done one thing that equates to him expressing an interest in leaving Buffalo. He’s been frustrated, like the rest of us, about all the heartbreaking losses but I’ve yet to see a single interview, tweet or otherwise that indicates any anti Buffalo sentiment.  He’s shot it down multiple times.  Yet talking heads spew nonsense, which have no factual backing, and seemingly get fans like yourself to believe he’s a malcontent.

Haha.  Ok.  Look, you’re obviously a Sabres guy trying to talk Bills.  It’s why I typically don’t talk football on this hockey forum because of guys like you.  But you clearly don’t pay attention or are a complete Diggs defender.
I’m not talking about him specifically asking for a trade.  I’m talking about him being dramatic and a pain in the arse of the Buffalo Bills.  I’m not going to get into every moment he’s had.  There’s been plenty.  Look them up yourself.
    You should stick to hockey.

Is this what you are talking about?  Nonsense drivel without context?  He could be talking about a turkey sandwich.  I just don’t get how people take this and turn it into Stef Diggs hates Buffalo, Josh Allen and the smell of Cheerios.  Just weird stuff man.

No.  I’m talking about the last couple of years.

Not all.  We’ve all seen first hand some of the things he’s done.  Yes, some of it is probably and likely embellished by the media, but there’s no denying there’s been issues with him.

Buffalo should bite the bullet and trade him..

in my opinion buffalo made a statement last year basically saying we don't need diggs to be successful.

And I would be Irritated if I was I buffalo fan with his Constant drama on Twitter and his brother Bad mouthing the team and QB

I can’t stand him.  I’ve wanted him gone for a couple years now.  Allen doesn’t need him anymore to be successful.  And now Diggs drama>production.

Still need to draft a true young #2 WR.

This is a very good, very deep WR draft class.  My bet is we draft 2 WR’s in the later rounds.  McDermott lost a lot on his D.  I think they try to make up for that in rounds 1-3.  Then it’s bpa with a couple wr’s sprinkled in there.
Right now Beanne has 11 picks. He’ll use a couple to move up but he’ll swing for the fences on a couple of those picks.

  18. McDermott loves versatility.  Shakir is mainly a slot but is learning to play all over.  Samual can play both inside and out.  Even Kincaid is sometimes used as just a big slot.
You get open, Allen will get you the ball.

i personally am a big fan of this signing.  I’ve been hoping they at least considered him this season and I’m psyched at the value they got him at.  He’s going to be a better #2 for Allen than Davis although he can’t block anything close to Davis.  Samual will probably finish 3rd or 4th on the team in receptions and give us some big plays that our offense needs.

  19. I know Ulmark had a better career to date, but UPL is playing better than Ulmark ever did, especially in a contract year and Ulmark signed for what?
I don’t think we’re getting UPL for cheap.

The only goals scored lately have been by a guy who was a healthy scratch most of the season and two defensemen (one of which was on his first shot in his first game with the Sabres) ... sure could use some more of that "scoring" thing around here.

Most everyone thought Casey was "soft and weak" when he started - yet he was probably one of the few Sabres this year that won more board battles than he lost ... all this "tough guy" talk is simultaneously hilarious, pathetic, and toxic.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence Carolina started winning after they shipped out $kinner.

Calling a kid born in 2001 a millennial is peak boomer energy.

Maybe I got my generation wrong.  Whatever he is, he is the new generation of players that play weak.
And I’m no boomer.  Much younger than that.

  22. I loved Zegras and really wanted him to be a part of the Eichel trade.
But then I saw this video where him and some other millennial kid were doing this dance in front of Getzlaf and he looks like he just wants to retire right there.
Zegras is the problem with the current NHL.  Too soft and flashy.  Probably thinks checking should be eliminated from the game.
