By the end of November this team will be playoff dead and Adams will still not get fired.

He’s got another power point presentation with all the buzzwords that Pegula is looking for.
He’ll extend him 5 years when he sees the phrase “Make Appert new Head Coach”

Any idea what Bichette might be thinking? I think teams might be lining up to make offers.

He said he wants to stay and the Front Office said he is the number 1 priority but we will see what happens. He is not a SS anymore his D isn’t good enough. He would be perfect at 2B with Gimenez at SS. If he is dead set on being a SS I think it limits his suitors big time. World Class bat.

Yamamoto deserves his accolades, for sure.

Let's not forget Kirk among the young new stars.

Team will be good for a while until players become FAs.

Rogers have as much money as anyone and committed to Vladdy. I wouldn’t think players just leave as free agents. Rogers will spend.

  4. The narrative before the Series was “David vs Goliath” and Jays were huge underdogs. Jays took it to them all series and were the better team but they didn’t execute at the end of the series with numerous chances to win it. Yamamoto was the MVP for sure.

Jays found some new stars in Clement, Barger and Yesavage.

Heartbreaking loss. The baseball Gods got it wrong this year but oh well.

Levi stops 33 of 34 and the Amerks win 2-1 at Laval in the first of a back to back with the Rocket.

What is the plan in net?

Levi is putting up video game numbers to start the season and this organization has Lyon, Ellis, UPL, Georgiev, Levi, Leinonen.

Like what is Adams doing here?

My major concern going in was which team could chase the other’s starter and get to each other’s weak bullpen. I’m shocked but not surprised that the Jays have done just that with the exception of Yamamoto. If they chase Snell again tonight, I like their chances to win one of two back home.

Bassitt and Lauer have really strengthened the bullpen for the World Series.

  7. This is a trade that both teams are happy with.

For Utah they get a young, talented offensive winger to help boost their offence.

For Buffalo this is a culture trade. Doan and Kesselring bring size and skill but with the leadership traits that this team desperately needs.

Im sure both fan bases will be happy with this trade in the long run.

Dodgers may be the better team on paper, but they sure as hell don't look like it. Jays have been the better team on the field through 4 games.

I agree. Outside of Yamamoto’s masterpiece in Game 2 the Jays have taken it to the Dodgers this series.

  9. I think ultimately Power will be moved. He will never be what a lot of the fan base hopes he becomes and they will crap on him. If you can get a young impact forward for him, hopefully a centre, you make that deal.

Dahlin, Muel, Byram, Kesselring, Johnson, Timmins is as good as many D corps in the league. And Novikov and Mrtka aren’t too far off.

If you can flip him for a Will Smith level forward I think you have to do it.

Some of you are WAY too emotional after a loss and it is kind of ridiculous to see the extreme takes in the minutes following a loss.

I think some of you need to take a deep breath and cool off before you post because the level of emotion is clearly skewing your thoughts

It’s not just a loss it’s a loss after 14 years of losing. Some people just are at their wit’s end.

They are playing better and Kesselring is a big add back. They are giving points away the last 2 games they should have had which is frustrating.

I think they have found a goalie in Lyon. He has given them a chance to win every game he has been in.

  11. I really liked Kesselring tonight.

If the Sabres want to get serious then they need to identify what a Sabre is and add more of them.

To me, guys like Benson, Doan, Kesselring, Helenuis should be the definition of a “Sabre”. Guys with skill but with that dawg in them and leaders. Draft and acquire more of them and really build an identity. I think Mrtka fits that mold too.
