DVRs only being able to record two channels. I want to record SVU and Criminal Minds every Wednesday night. Well the Sabres are playing on Wednesday as well. So my DVR forces me to cancel one of those recordings or it will change my channel away from the Sabres to one of those games. Can I please have the ability to watch one station and record the other two?

I'm not sure I have ever had a filet-of-fish sandwhich at McDs.. I certainly don't recall ever eating one...

I'm heading there today for my kids as well... Not my favorite day.. I put it back on my kids... I tell them that if they are capable of A's they should get them and I'll be happy :w00t: . If they are capable of B's and they get them, I'll be happy :rolleyes: . If they are capable of C's and they get them, I'll be happy B-) . But if you're getting a B when you could get an A, then they need to work harder :wallbash: . When that doesn't work, I've dangled bribes as incentives :doh: ..

I finally am going to a Caps game with the whole fam damily and OV won't be playing... Grr...

I agree. I have a love/hate relationship with my XM radio. I love that I get the hockey games, news, financial, eighties rock, classical (yep!), raw comedy, and the PGATour. What drives me insane is the same old commercials talking about "waste spackled to your colon walls". If you thought Versus was limited on commercial advertising, listen to the "commercial free" XM radio. They play a lot of commercial and seem to recycle the weight loss ones endlessly.

How could they possibly be this bad... This has to be a record for ineptitude in the preseason. But then again, probably not. It is the Bills afterall..

DC Traffic.. Spent three delightful hours commuting home today. Normally a 1.5 hour trip with low traffic. That means I had five hours of commute time today. Who was complaining about Buffalo traffic???? Fortunately, I only need to go to DC about three times a month... Thank god for XM radio....

Okay.. I finally have a complaint... I'm in Buffalo for a long weekend... Yeah... no that's not the complaint. I was prepping to go when my kids reminded me that my volume no longer works on my favorite work laptop. They wanted to watch some DVDs on the way up. I took my laptop into get updated and whatever my CIO did, I can no longer get sound and I have zero privileges to fix anything.. Hell I can't even disk defrag anymore. So I say, no worries, I have this new laptop which I hate cause it has Vista on it. But at least the sound works. Dad saves the day! Not quite. Seems those same CIO clowns have some how blocked the DVD. Click on My Computer and the DVD drive doesn't show up. Again, I have zero privileges on the computer to do anything. So.. I take my wife's laptop. Full privileges on that one.. XP not Vista... Things are golden!! Get two blocks from the house and the kids can't get the DVD to fully play. Sqawking about a DirectX mismatch. Download by aircard a new DirectX.. Tic, toc, tic toc. Still doesn't solve the problem. Seems my kids have got three competing DVD programs on the laptop and not one of them works. Windows Media Player, Nope. HotLama, Nope. Interactive, Nope. They all hate each other. Install, de-install, tic toc, tic toc. After one hour on the side of the road, dad throws in the towel. Heads to Best Buy and gets a portable one for the roadie..

I've been fortunate enough to have missed 99% of the MJ coverage these last couple days. I came in the other night and every station I flipped to was signing off on their MJ special. I went into a 7-11 and counted 18 different periodicals with all different MJ faces on the cover. The man was an entertainer I get that. But there are enough taboo subjects floating around him that we shouldn't be lionizing what turns out to be a junkie.. This coverage has been over the freakin top. Make it stop.
