Checking in with an update on my preseason prognostications: Prognostications: 1, Kaleta will break his hand grabbing a puck out of mid air (so far wrong, hard to be right when he's out with a back problem) 2. Grigs will be sent down at some point in this season. (looks like I will be wrong here. He skates up and down the ice, does nothing, but stays up) 3. Hechts will bounce around from line to line with no permanent home. (Yahtzee!) 4. The line of Ennis, Stafford and Foligno will not make it through 15 games before being broken up. (Yahtzee!) 5. Miller will have a GAA around 2.10. (uh not even close) 6. Enroth will get eight games (on course to be correct) 7. Ott will be a fan favorite and will lead the team in PIMS edging out Kaleta (might end year without a fan favorite. Ott is invisible most nights) 8. Scott will not fight a single Bruin (Wrong: he fought Thornton) 9. Sabres will stumble out the gate and have a losing record after the first ten. (Yahtzee!) They will get better as the season goes on and will be chasing a 7-8 spot. 10. Sabres will finish with 49 points. (49 looks mighty steep at the moment)

You can just feel it.. I say Gerbe for Karlsson.. Seems like a completely unfair trade that they should jump on right away.

Sabres are in town. Time to break out the back up goalie. I know Anderson is starting tonight. Just seems like Sabres get a lot of backup goalies.

Living in Baltimore I see this guy each week. He is the real deal. You can't tackle the SOB. He is going to break the bank which in turn means bye bye to Boldin, Jacoby Jones, Ray Lewis, Ed Reed and Krueger... They will franchise Flacco for 14M and it is expected he will receive elite QB money... The list of departing players all want big paydays and Baltimore enters the off season in cap trouble for next year, If Buffalo was smart, they would snap up Krueger... Guy is a beast..

Try to convince me that arm strength doesn't matter.. Fitz better be gone tomorrow..
