yeah, something is wrong. I went to bed leading and woke up losing. Didn't think much about it, but I had a good day yesterday. My assist total is clearly wrong. So look for a stat correction sometime.

It's like trying to pick the worst strawberry out of a carton of bad strawberries. There have been so many disappointing seasons over the years, that they blend together. This one is particularly painful because after the breath of fresh air that blew through this franchise, the upgrades, the money, the free agents, the on-ice product is just brutal to watch at times. For all the investment, the product is as bad, maybe the worst ever. Heck I'll say it, with all the investment, this is the worst ever. Until next year that is, when hope springs eternal and then is cruelly dashed anew.

So I started watching the game, saw the first two goals and switched to back-to-back episodes of TWD. I was monitoring the score and forum. Switched back after the Schenn penalty and watched the sad last three minutes. What ever is missing from this team, it is really missing. There isn't an aspect of their play right now that is satisfactory. PP, PK, Offense, Defense, Goal tending, coaching, lineups, player management, shooting, blocking, passing, thinking.. It's all in the crapper. With payroll and expectation so high, this is painful to watch. I said it early last night in the game and repeat it here. The Little Line is getting killed out there. It is a bad, no really bad idea, to have Gerbe and Ennis play together. They get hemmed in the Defensive zone for extended parts of their shift and the momentum, if there is any, gets sucked out of the Sabres game.

That Chicago game is pretty wild. Chicago 5-6 now after falling behind 0-4

I am so done with the Little Line. When is he going to realize they are a major liability on the road?

I think they were out there when Ehrhoff did his WWC impression. The last few games, teams have been really exploiting the Little line.
