Unfortunately in my part of Scotland there is a huge problem with sectarianism in football. The chants are horrible. Many of which will get you a night in a cell if you sang them in the street. Celtic and Rangers are all of the worst elements of football. Regardless of the perceived cleaning up of football, in the UK there is definitely still a hooligan element. I was a diehard fan of my local team (Greenock Morton) from the age of 6 onwards. But even in the 2nd tier of scottish football its too expensive, especially as the product is getting worse.
