Look at his stats. GAA and Sv % indicate below average. He has played enough to believe the numbers. He had yet to make a shoot out save. Hence, he is below average. I am really not here to discuss UPLs development progress. Do you think he should have saved the 4th goal? Are you happy with the worst rated PK in the league?

Nothing I have said argues that UPL is good, or bad, or in between. The last goal was not on UPL. The PK failed to protect the lead, failed to win a draw, failed to clear the puck. The were 0-2 in regulation. They give up a PK goal every game. DG and his staff should be up all night looking at the last 50 PKs. They have to fix it.

Sure. And UPL is not even average so far. He is easy to blame. Look deeper. The PK is last in the league. You just knew they would fail to clear, lose face offs, and allow another goal.

Your logic does not work for me. The ref felt bad for calling one on Washington, so he “evened it up”??? Really??? Do you think he would say that??? I’ll bet $100 buck he wouldn’t . Not our problem if he called a bad call. You are not trained to call two bad ones in a row. Was it even the same ref that called both ? That is not how they are trained. The correct call was Irwin and Tuch, 2 minutes each for roughing. Irwin did everything possible to draw the penalty, instigate, rough, interfere. - and the ref fell for it. He didn’t even it up, he gave them a 6 on 4. We only had a 5 on 4. The ref should not EVER think of that stuff, his job is just call what is in front of him. Tuch deserved a penalty, so did Irwin. I am more made at at the damn PK, than Tuch, UPL, or the ref. They are terrible. Abysmal is more like it. Last in the league.

He is 100% right. He should not blame anyone. He should work on the PK more before the next game. They are terrible. Irwin clearly roughed, interfered and instigated. Take them both off.

They both should have went off. What kind of call was that to call half the play??? The PK is the worst in the league and it shows. They gave up 2 goals out of the 2 regulation PK. we had chances to kill that penalty. They needed to win a face off and clear the puck. That’s all. They failed to clear the puck again.

Cozens is going to be a star. He is 21 dude. The whole team overpassed. The goalie was terrible and we let him of the hook.

Irwin should have got a roughing too. Tuch didn’t have the puck and Irwin was way out of position so he pushed him off the point. That was a terrible call to put Washington in a huge advantage.

It should never have got to a shoot out to begin with. Tuch and that asshat on Washington should have both went off. Even then. We blew chances to clear the puck on the PK and lost the puck. very frustrating game. That point matters
