I spent one night in Salt Lake City back in 1981, on my way to California via Reno and Tahoe. The food was bland and there was nothing to do. -

I can’t believe the Sabres have less points than this Utah team, and that they are losing tonight. It just sucks that they are this bad. -
Yes. lol.

Looking forward to it. Still love to watch the games. Thinking of some Greek food tonight before the late start? -
This proved my point even more. Bandits play 9 home games, average ticket price is $50. Plenty of $11-25 tickets.

The Buffalo-Niagara Falls metro area population was ~1.35M in 1970 and it is ~1.17M today. This does not include Southern Ontario which is Canada's most densely populated area and has had significant population growth since 1970. So the population of the potential fan base today, if allowed to count just a small portion of Southern Ontario, is about the same now as it was in 1970. The big reasons for Buffalo gaining a franchise was that the market was hot for hockey and the likelihood for success was thought to be high, and the ownership was considered strong. When Buffalo was passed over for league expansion in 1967, the Knox brothers tried to purchase the Oakland Seals two years later with the intent on moving that team to Buffalo. The 1970 population was not the defining reason. In fact, the Sabres had to compete with the NBA expansion Buffalo Braves in 1970, something they do not have to do today.

Ahh, no blockers huh. That approqch did not work, all it does is keep you the youngest team in the league and a losing team on top of it. We could never play all the forwards that we drafted on the same team, so trading picks/prospects was a viable option that Adams did not do (ok, just once with Savoie for McLeod). If you wait too long the prospects could lose value. Kulich looks like he is an NHL player. He will stick around and if not he will have trade value. Tyson Kozak looks like a potential 4th liner. Rosen has not been given much ice in the few appearances he has had under Ruff, which is puzzling, so I do not know what to think of him. Murray and Rousek are looking like AHL players only. There is no need to call up Helenius or Östlund yet. They are very young, doing fine, and have a ways to go.

I just accurately answered his question.

Then drop them. Who cares, all GMs make mistakes and they move on from them all the time. He can move Eichel and Reinhart and that's ok? The goal should be to ice the best NHL roster you can every year.
