  1. The bus better keep going down I70 to St Louis.
  2. I thought EJ would be more steady. Didn't expect to see Ryan J up until later in the season - he keeps a cools head and make a fine breakout pass. Clifton does some things well, and we may miss him against big gritty teams like we could see tonight, but then he seems to be involved in some unfortunate (some may call boneheaded) plays on occasion. Three deflections off of him already - so he is trying to clear out the front of net but he is also not aware of everything going on around him.
  3. I looked up the 2021 issue and the current one. Looks like it is the same GF. She had a stint with a rapper in between her romances with Von. He already has two sons with her. There are videos out there of their dating exploits and her rapper exploits - I have seen enough. smfh Let due process in Dallas go to work.
  4. Yes, but the complaining ....
  5. Wonder what Miller's contract says about such behavior and arrests, or convictions?
  6. Well, you have heard Adams talk about deals he could not make. I think that trading for vet player with a NMC is really hard and that Buffalo is a still a no-go destination for many players.
  7. Sure. But its more about the perception of the Sabres. Perception is reality.
  8. I didn't want him anyway but it sucks that he goes to a rival team.
  9. He hardly plays so we see all of those guys every week anyway. Just don't need the distraction. He is supposed to be a leader. Mr. "Don't Blink" leads a defense that blinks on the games last drive all too often.
  10. My complaint is that women cannot bring purses/bags into hockey games. We are going to the Sabres - Blues tonight and my wife is upset, again, as usual, about the policy that she knows is full well is in force. I can talk about bad people, public safety, and its only 3 hours, etc. I cannot stop the complaining, so I am complaining about the complaining.
  11. I hope this is a baseless accusation. Not good. Not what the team needs right now.
  12. Spooner, back away from the coffee this morning.
  13. 12:00? HAPPY HOUR must start early in Canada.
  14. The Blues are always tough at home and the Sabres history in St Louis is not great. Sabres beat them in StL last season, and Tage lit them up. Moderate workload will not get it done. Full Muscle Weight is needed tonight.
  15. Biro is not a center. He is smaller, and I don't see the physical side. If he is Hecht then we have a fabulous 4C guy.
  16. Yeah but that arena.
  17. He needs to work on the autograph and put a prominent J and Q in it.
  18. Better than last year? So far no impact, but they have appeared in a combined 8 games so far this season. Only Benson has showed he belongs. Rousek could give you Girgensons-like minutes maybe, but unfortunately without the physicality. The rest are not ready, including Savoie.
  19. I am giving no credit or discredit until this plays out. I was against not acquiring a goaltender. I was against Levi playing four straight games to start the season too. I am for Levi in Rochester. Right now UPL is a pleasant surprise that has a long road ahead to prove he is consistent enough to be a 1. Comrie is still Comrie. He can backup. Levi is in a place were he can work on his game and contribute. It is what it is and we will know as the season progresses.
  20. Pegula built the Penn State Arena for a massive tax write off to offset massive fracking profits. He won't get that in Rochester, it would not count as a charitable donation, he owns the team. The rest of your spouting about the quality of the Rochester Amerks facility is senseless and has little or nothing to do with player development.
  21. OK @PASabreFan, I looked at the old Levi Expectations Thread. Just one (1) member voted that he would spend time in the AHL - that was @mjd1001. The majority picked the middle option - lots of games and lots of ups and downs. Almost as many picked the first option - lots of games and Calder conversation. Looks like you did not vote. Some of the longest standing members here, and most ardent followers of hockey, picked option 1. So the board here is becoming more "rah rah"? Maybe so. I would say we are a fan base looking for a savior. Probably because there is little else to cheer for other than our prospects developing. We spent the whole off season talking about prospects as the FO only bought in two players from the outside to help with a playoff run. It even seemed to me like the preseason games were a prolonged tryout that actually extended into the regular season. And people wonder why they started slow? I see where your frustration is but the diehard fans have to cheer for something.
